Both full backs will get rotated, so it's a question of who starts first and come comes on once the pattern of play has settled. It's unfortunate that's not an option for the centre backs, though.

Nevertheless I expect 2 players in the holding role to fill the gaps between CB and FB, to cope with Rogers and Palmer, from Sangaré, Janelt and Yarmoliuk, with rotation for one... or even all three starting. I'd favour Vitaly as he's probably the key player to deliver quickly long balls forward in the absence of Collins and Jensen. That selection in midfield, like down at Bournemouth, is going to be interesting.

The three nominal attackers will, when not on pressing/covering duties, be getting in behind the Chelsea defence.

There's going to be goals in this... so cue a 0-0!

I recognise you... banana...voice...and a few others are having a bit of fun with this 'must win' thing.... but it's our first game at home against one of the teams expected to be challenging for a top 3 position in the league this season...if we are to improve on last seasons position in the EPL...winning tonight against this lot will go some way to help achieve that goal....and imo is no different to when the Arsenal and City come calling at the GTech further down the line.... let's see tonight what we are made of.

Depends who you believe. Post higher up reporting he’ll be out for weeks but Alonso not ruling him out. God knows. But both him and Welbz have very good records against us.

I’m an oldie too. 45 years plus attending, but due to a work change gave up my season ticket two seasons before promotion the the EPL as I wasn’t able to attend enough games to make it viable.
Now I’m able to attend all the games again.
My bad luck I suppose.

The club isn't benchmarking the ticket costs are they? They are providing a top flight, Cat A game significant cheaper than the competition. You can't get into QPR for less than £30 and they're terrible.

The club aren't perfect but our ticket/season ticket prices are bloody good value for money.
