Indeed. Since I moved, my most direct route is past Twickenham. Trying to get to Brentford and then get home after the match that clashed with the England v Ireland game, last season, were a total nightmare.

I assume the bonus picks will earn less money than the main ones

I am assuming that we will make the 10 picks over the season so having an extra one should be good

For anyone coming from SW/along A316 it's awful when our games clash with England internationals. :banghead:
Bad enough even when Harlequins are at home.......

Or people who travel on trains via Waterloo or Clapham Junction and have to endure the scrum (rugby pun not intended) to get on a train with the queuing system that is in place when there is rugby on at Twickenham that clashes with Brentford home matches! :banghead:

For info the only England match that currently coincides with a Bees game this winter is on Sat Feb 20th v Italy, when we're at home to Coventry. Although the England game doesn't kick off until 16:40 which generally means pre-game traffic isn't as bad, and they'll still be playing once we finish, so will be fine for the return journey......

(Harlequins play on Sat 5th Dec at 15:05 (same day we're at home to Man City); Sat 24th April - Bees v Fulham and Sat 8th May - Bees v Villa. All 'clashes' subject to date changes due to possible TV coverage of course.)

We now divert to the A34/M4 junction (I can do it from my place by the back doubles) and take the M4 all the way to the Chiswick roundabout when there's a serious game at Twickenham. We then park in the Ferry Quays car park, under the Premier Inn in the high street. It doesn't take me much longer and we can escape via the GWR down to the M3 after the game, avoiding the Chertsey Road.

Right trying to advise on a Bees fan who lives in the North East on whether it is safe to buy tickets to our match against Man City (H)

So Arsenal vs Man City is on the Sunday 29th November at 16:30, that means we have to play Arsenal on Wednesday 2nd and not Tuesday?

Then that means that our match against Man City can't be on the Friday night, but could be any slot on Saturday, as it can't be on the Sunday as Man City are away are Barca on Tuesday ?

Is that right @Judio1999 ?

I reckon that's all correct - helpful to have two more dates effectively confirmed.
Your mate is not completely safe from an 8pm KO or something though.

Yes it is guaranteed to be Weds night now

Could start anytime between 1930 and 2015

This is 100% then? Just the first page isn't updated and I'm planning travel based around attending both ManU and Arsenal games.

The first page isnt updated because the PL have not announced it yet

But for reasons explained in the posts it has to be the Weds night

I think Banana often puts an explanation in post 1 on that line to make it especially clear that's the reason, but people nevertheless asked repeatedly in previous years. Peak time for asking would be in early spring so I suppose we are ahead of the game.
