Poll - Sanctions for Manchester City
Now that it's officially been confirmed of the level of their cheating, what is a suitable sanction?
Can you add expulsion from PL, massive fine, and banned from stealing Hey Jude for life!
The PL and then distributed to its member clubs. Presumably after MCFC had been expelled. If, as seems inevitable, they get a very significant fine regardless of any football sanction, where would the money go?

Should be the whole pyramid. Plenty of teams in the Championship and lower were directly impacted by City’s behaviourThe PL and then distributed to its member clubs. Presumably after MCFC had been expelled.
They'd each have a case against the owners for breach of contract I imagine. At the weekend, ie before today’s details, I read an article claiming that most Man City players don’t have relegation clauses in their contracts.
This could all be great fun to watch….

... some might say.... personally I'd cut off their hands... they'd never steal....or play a geetar...ever again.Castrate all of them, associated with the club.
Every fan to do ten years, no parole.
Directors burnt on the stake.
Ground destroyed and salted.
Owners bbq’d in the streets by the hand of god.
Accountants and auditors need to be hung too.
UEFA would have to be involved and they've already lost the case vs MCFC due to time limitations.Would a 10 year ban from all European competitions be enforceable or would UEFA get involved in a big way?
Matey should be forced to sell the club after having his "fit and proper person" status removed.
However, see above.
Under a very recent law a person's "fit and proper" status can now be removed. It couldn't previously. So it's not quite a sh*t show. The fit and proper person rule fails yet again!

If MCFC are not in the PL however then there's there's only the FA Cup and League Cup routes open to them. Of course they can still qualify for the Europa League (via the FA Cup), win that and then be qualified for the CL.
...indeed... several owners on the watchlist... return the Elgin Marbles I say.Under a very recent law a person's "fit and proper" status can now be removed. It couldn't previously. So it's not quite a sh*t show.
As I said earlier, the issue would certainly fall into diplomatic relationships however.
I thought it is up to the PL to decide how to distribute the European spots they are given?
It's not that confusing. It clearly says 'should'.Polls confusing… what should they receive or will receive are two separate things
