I could have given it to any of the 4 or 5 detailed above. To be different, I chose Igor for battling on for nearly 2 hours, with little or no consideration from the incompetent smurf supposedly in charge. Yes, people think he’s not as good as last season, and dismiss him, but he assisted the goal today and KA didn’t have to worry about him not occupying their defence.

Several players had excellent games today but for me Ajer was the pick of the crop. He was excellent in defence, made several lung busting runs forward and back, and was a real threat in their box. He is having his best season with us and deserves the plaudits that come his way.
