To add to what @North London Bee said, I'm watching the Man Utd game (admittedly first Man Utd game I've watched for a while). It's frustrating watching him not getting a sniff of goal. We watched him for 6 years and he didn't do well up front. Let him play wide left and drift inside. It seems strange willing a former player to do well in the same league as us, but it's just annoying seeing him not play like we used to.

Wide right surely

Bryan is a player that brings joy, Carrick is doing to him, what Moyes did to Benrahma.
Turning Bryan into a functionary forward is like taking a Porsche round the block to keep the engine ticking over.
Mbeumo used to smile and make people smile a lot more with us.
Carrick may have found a winning formula but at a cost for under using Bryan’s talents.

Double sh*t last night and throughout the entire season actually.

Fernandes had the choice between wither him or Sesko for the 2nd. Perhaps earlier in season he would’ve received it.

He’s a brilliant player, he’ll be back

I think he's done ok for them in his first season. He's scored 10 goals in the league which is 1 or 2 more than he got with us for 4 out of the 6 seasons we had him.

Bryan was everywhere in the first half.
Leaving the Leeds right back for Manchester United's goal, was top drawer.
Also his all round link up play was very good.
I only watched the first half, so cannot comment on the second half.

When he is retired what will stand out, playing for United or Brentford? Sure we are a better team now but they are top 3 most famous clubs in the world.

I wonder what he thinks about constantly being played as a striker, to accommodate the other bloke on the RW? His is one of the few positions where there’s decent cover. He must look at that team sheet and think “what the…?”

I don't think he is playing there to accommodate Amad; he's playing there because he is their best striker. I think he is playing pretty well, the rest of them...not so much.

....he absolutely won't celebrate should he score on the 28th.... says all you need to know...BMW.... great times.
