#thecode or something...Prepare yourself for some light mockery from some of the regulars for mentioning bakeries and cocktail bars on a football trip ... but it's your day out, you enjoy it!

It is a fantastic city but Saturday, Christmas Markets and Black Friday weekend mean it will be absolutely rammed. My daughter is manager at one of the Arndale stores and they project 40% increase in business over a normal Saturday. Normally that weekend is embargoed for vacation but there are benefits to being the boss so we certainly intend to brave the markets and get a good meal after the match - hopefully a victory under our belts will make it feel like just before Christmas a few years ago when we beat the other half of the city.Yeah, we love Manchester generally, our favourite English city break thanks to the long list of food and drink places we really like or are keen to try. Will head straight to a favourite bakery in the morning (either Pollen or Companio) and hit a couple of many great breweries / pubs / beer bars / cocktail bars throughout the day and night.
Then added bonus this time of year as we can do the Christmas markets
Ha, I'll take the trade-off of eating/drinking better than anyone else!Prepare yourself for some light mockery from some of the regulars for mentioning bakeries and cocktail bars on a football trip ... but it's your day out, you enjoy it!
There was .... sold outThere is no coach option for this one, or it’s been already sold out?
....given the state of both teams in Manchester...and the prospect of Gary Neville becoming Mayor...I thoroughly expect a downturn in all markets in Madchester... including the Xmas one.It is a fantastic city but Saturday, Christmas Markets and Black Friday weekend mean it will be absolutely rammed.
