The main match, shame the video is so short.
I remember seeing Bran Moore there and much later, Bobby Ross stopped his car for me at zebra crossing, on his way home.

Wrong on so many counts. After decimalisation so 50p and 75p and 10p. More like 15,000 in attendance. As for chap counts well there were some BIG trawler men there. Oh and you're right on one thing - no sanitizers!

I loved that game. My first season and for this one I was standing in the paddock. Loved the fact it was on The Big Match. Always remember Brian Moore’s immortal line - ‘two in a minute’. Happy days.
Yeah, fantastic day. As a kid, I was on the RO right behind the goal to see those go in. I so miss walking down Clifden Road to this.

Programme was 5p in 71/72,72/73 & 73/74.
It doubled in price to 10p for the 74/75 season when it was printed on a glossier paper and incorporated photos.
I think that's when the Football League Review / League Review colour pull-out magazine for all the lower divisions went under? I guess all the other clubs had similar problems? I just remember a lot of whinging at GP at the time!

My memory is shot these days but I was able to name all of our players coming out of the tunnel - in real time, no pausing the video. I couldn't do that for any other season before about 2018.

We gad a family friend who lived in Clifden Road, or Football Alley as we use to call it.
