Does anyone know if the (family stand) ballot has been made for this game yet? And whether you hear if unsuccessful or not? I’m aware tix available to all members tomorrow
Precisely! Ticket office WhatsApp didn’t know. Email said 24 hours before. Wait and see…I have the same question :-D Heard nothing yet, but assume it'll be made tomorrow before 2pm.
As i dont want to end up buying tickets twice.

Yes, I phoned the ticket office, and they said you can't accept tickets until they are released a week or two before the game. They are aware that the error messages are confusing and have raised the issue with ticketmaster.Anyone had a ticket transferred to them for this one, but getting an error message when trying to "accept" it?
"Unfortunately you cannot accept tickets for this event".
Thanks for the reply.Yes, I phoned the ticket office, and they said you can't accept tickets until they are released a week or two before the game. They are aware that the error messages are confusing and have raised the issue with ticketmaster.
I don't think it's reflected anywhere in the ticketing comms. It's new this season that if you buy a home ticket, it doesn't appear in the app immediately, but is "released" closer to the game. Apparently it's the same with transferred tickets, except that the system happily lets the ST holder transfer it to you weeks before it will allow you to accept it.Thanks for the reply.
I'll pass that on to my 2 'casual Bees fan' friends who have been trying to download tickets transferred to them.
Hopefully this, and previous other issues they've had with ticket transfers, won't put them off trying to get tickets/going to games in the future.........
Not necessarily aimed at you @girvan, but is the "week or two before a game" restriction highlighted anywhere in ticketing comms/FAQs?
Thanks again for that info. Very useful to know.I don't think it's reflected anywhere in the ticketing comms. Helpful - thank you.My ticket for the Liverpool game appeared on Friday 2nd October, so it's around two weeks before.
Believe it’s all members, so they would need a membership of some kind, not just a ticketing accountIs there any restrictions on transferring to ticket site account holders based on when they became one? Trying to transfer one of ours to the son of a member but the site won’t let me, says unexpected error. The ticket account was only created this week.
No.Believe it’s all members, so they would need a membership of some kind, not just a ticketing account
Are you sure about this? The ticketing guide states the following for Category B games:No.
Membership not necessary for tickets to be transferred for this game.
But Bees account needs to have been set up before tickets went on sale.
Which looks like the issue here.
Could try phoning Ticket Office.
But we are season ticket holders not members which states below, so must just be the timing of the account creation. Are you sure about this? The ticketing guide states the following for Category B games:
'My Bees members can forward their match ticket to anyone within their friends & family network who meets the on-sale eligibility criteria; being a member.'
I don't believe this game is a Friends and Family fixture, which would allow transfer to account holders.
OK. Fair enoughBut we are season ticket holders not members which states below, so must just be the timing of the account creation.
- For category A & B fixtures
- Season ticket holders will be able to forward their ticket to anyone in their Friends & Family Network with a Brentford FC account

All sorted via WhatsApp apparently there isn’t a restriction so they don’t know why I couldn’t do it.No.

I'm not sure which offer or wording you're referring to - but it's normal that season ticket holders can access the exchange in the last 48 hours before the game when it's a category B fixture.Tickets now being offered to 'friends'. What will we do when we move to Twickenham?
Thanks for info. Yes this is normal for cat B late in the day.I had a message saying saying Season Ticket holders can now bring a friend.

I hot the same.I had a message saying saying Season Ticket holders can now bring a friend.

Exactly. Well put.Bring a friend and they get to sit on their own, maybe even in a different stand.
Always thought it’s a nice gesture but doubt many take the club up on it.
Ticket office can move you both to the East Stand. But that's not really communicated in the message.Bring a friend and they get to sit on their own, maybe even in a different stand.

Just turn up as normal and swipe in ?If not sold yes
Just turn up as normal and swipe in ?
Didn’t think i could make the game today so put my ticket on the exchange, ticket hasn’t sold. Can I retrieve it?
Was ever thus. Much rather have 15,000 there to see Brentford than an extra 250 who are ambivalent, or worse, hold a flame for the opposition.Doesn’t look like many going sell on the exchange today! Funny how tables turn when it’s United or Liverpool we are playing…
