Dango Ouattara

Dango Ouattara

For me it was that opportunity to cross after he beat his man in the box.................. Decides to try and beat him again.

Not quite clicking for him.

Need to see more for a player that cost a decent amount of wedge.

Maybe hes carrying a knock.

Dango Ouattara

Does seem not quite at the races
He was completely switched on beating an attacker to the ball as Villa were pressing us in the last few minutes, looking up and placing a ball into their half for Thiago to run onto. A pity their 'keeper was also switched on, though.

Dango Ouattara

He decided to play in the last minute with an amazing ball recovery that started a great counter attack.

Short of confidence, probably will get it back up norf at Sunderland in the cup

Dango Ouattara

Still looked completely shattered after a half of football. Was playing like it was the 96th minute while we were holding on just before halftime, with some very tired looking clearances.

Gave everything for the 53 minutes he was on and showing signs of getting back into his groove.

Agreed ! That was some tackle , for the first bit of the slide it looked like it was going to be a two footed lunge , then morphed into ‘I’ll just hook one leg out and scoop the ball away ‘ all achieved in a nano second. We were right down the line of it and from 60 yards away could clearly see he got the ball , incompetence from the ref meant a VAR delay but was never worried that it wouldn’t be overturned.

Dango Ouattara

Thought he was very good yesterday. Amazing tackle, denied an assist from a phenomenal block from jacquet as Thiago was aboht to score and another pass into Thiago that was very creative and inches a way from coming off.
Yes looked as though over illness or fitness issues. Reckon he will claim the shirt back from Jaidon now with Schade on left.

Was the pick of the front 3 yesterday. Not brilliant but asked some questions at least and two very dangerous low crosses/pullbacks. Scored the important goal as was in the right place at the right time.
Yeap, he was definitely the one trying to make things happen, and thanks for that, as Thiago's form is terrible, and Schade went back to the "more interested in getting a foul than a goal" square.

We had a bit of fun with a guy behind us, who was shouting at Dango, and was fuming Schade was subbed instead of him. Took a minute to prove it was the right call, he took it very well to be honest

Had lots more of the ball on Sunday but final product still seems a bit lacking. Yes, I’m aware he scored, but…

I’ve been quite critical of him but as my son pointed out, Brentford don’t spend 40m quid on bums. So I think a little patience is still required.

Thought he was good tbh, very difficult when both Thiago and Schade were not on their game and our midfield were not able to exert control until late on. He had their LB on toast for pace several times, and looked up for it, which is a good step in the right direction.

Yeah, of the front three, he was clearly the one providing the most danger.
He's looked like he's coasting in a fair few games lately but I don't think Sunday was one of them.
