League Cup Round 4 - Updates

[Banana]

Arsenal losing...

[Beelated]

Captain Pugwash theme to celebrate the goal, too!!

[bexleybee]

Play was delayed by some tw*t with a drone but fair play Fleetwood

[Sianist]

looking forward to hearing the opinion from my Arsenal colleague

probably somewhere between (possibly including both) excuses of them putting out their C team and bemoaning that they sleepwalked into it with none of the players seeming up for it

I’m not sure I understand the actual reason for the game being stopped for 7 minutes. Presumably it’s a licensing thing rather than a safety thing?

[Untouchable]

77% possession and only 1 shot on target from Arsenal. Crap. Hopefully Fleetwood finish the job.

That was the case when our game was delayed.

They're playing a lot of first teamers and international players.
Their keeper is the ex Leeds number 1, Meslier and been rotated on the bench with Kepa.
Lewis-Skelly, Dowman, Havertz, Gyokeres, Zubimendi amongst others are regular first teamers even if not all starters.

Anyway, Ben White and Martin Odegaard on now and 1-1

[Banana]

Surely that's offside!

[badgerbee]

Accomplished finish from Gyokeres.....

[badgerbee]

Surely that's offside!

Havertz didn't touch it.

[Isleworth_Bee]

Arsenal really are a bunch of ****s

[Banana]

Correct decision - red card for Dowman.

[longtimeagobee]

Harsh red card?
Funny though

[Untouchable]

Correct decision - red card for Bowman.

Yes. Good spot from the ref.

[bexleybee]

Dowman - what a tit

[Banana]

Yes. Good spot from the ref.

Lino gave that. And it looked far worse from where he was standing than if he were on the other side of the incident

[JCMcBee]

This is fun

[Untouchable]

If Yarmo committed violent conduct, Dowman should be suspended until 2028.

[NZ Bee]

Shocking from Arteta - clearly having a go at 16 yr old Dowman as he heads down the tunnel.

[Isleworth_Bee]

Harsh red card?
Funny though

Not harsh at all. Kicked out deserved what he got.

[ladbroke]

That could only be a red.
But I guarantee you if that was in PL with VAR, he'd have gone yellow and waited for VAR to tell him he was correct.

Thing is, how different was that to Palmers one against Spurs where he went charging at him.

[Sianist]

... at least he can legitimately excuse himself by immaturity as compared to YY

[Isleworth_Bee]

Didnt look great did it. Horrible ****

[Banana]

Not harsh at all. Kicked out deserved what he got.

Also player was on the ground and unable to defend himself. That was be a conviction in a criminal court.

[Untouchable]

Commentator calling the red card ‘harsh.’

He kicked him FFS.

3 year ban then please.

[Frenchbee]

Big club bias from the commentator all the way through the game to be honest.

[JCMcBee]

....no VAR....how utterly refreshing.

[ladbroke]

Fantastic result.

[Banana]

"A small tussel". it was a knee to the head!

[TW3Bee]

Harsh red card?
Funny though

Palmer got a tellow, against Spurs for more than that.

[badgerbee]

Havertz and Konsa desperately trying to buy penalties in last 5 minutes.
w***ers

[badgerbee]

"A small tussel". it was a knee to the head!

Yeah, but he's only 16.
So that's OK.

[bexleybee]

[BS7Bee]

Big lolz

[Banana]

[SOTGBee]

Lovely stuff

[JosephBFC]

Superb, absolutely superb

[Frenchbee]

Yyyyeeeessss!!! Well done Fleetwood! Something I’ve never said before

[JCMcBee]

.... that's what it's all about.
