[Gary Alen]

Struggling to make KO. Nightmare journey. Taken well over 2 hours and still a way to go. Who decided to have games in West Drayton!!

[Gary Alen]

No lineups yet from either side, so not the only one struggling to get there!!

Its end to end... the wet pitch is running fast.

[Gary Alen]

Made it just as we kicked off. Pretty hectic in the opening passages. Lots of opportunities for Bees. Not sure how we are not 1-0 up

Good shot by Abbi Smith just over

Ashley Cheatley shooting just wide

Wiktoria Kiszkis shooting over

Plus a couple decent crosses by both Teale and Smith. Pitch is running fast and we have come out the traps fast.

[Gary Alen]

Flurry of Bees corners, followed by a Maddie Phillips freekick that threatens to cause caps in Ashford box…. We’re close here

[Gary Alen]

1-0
Cheatley slides it along on a plate for Kiszkis to finish. It was coming.

['Ayes B]

Libby Stratton makes a brilliant double save from Maddies free kick and then the follow up

[Gary Alen]

Ashford get into our half for the first prolonged spell, and see their final product just over the bar. This game isn’t won yet

[Gary Alen]

1-1

Spectacular effort for Ashford. Was it deliberate, was it wind assisted…. But what looked like a lobbed cross, ends up lobbing Reeves-Priestley and nestling into the far corner of the net. Impressive if it was meant.

['Ayes B]

29' Ruby Maiden with a peach of an equaliser for Ashford

[Gary Alen]

Ashford keeper makes a really good save down to her right to deny Teale

['Ayes B]

32' Libby Stratton denies Rebecca Teale from close range

[Gary Alen]

Early bees sub.
Kiszkis off
Sangha on

['Ayes B]

37' Kiskis off Sangra on

[Gary Alen]

2-1
Beautiful bit of build up play, Smith to Sangha who slides it across for Cheatley to tuck it in.

['Ayes B]

Constatine to Sangha who square to Cheatley... BOOM!

[Gary Alen]

Maddie Phillips has a shot from distance just over the bar.

[Gary Alen]

HT.
we’re good for our lead and possibly should be more to the good. But while it’s still a single goal, the game looks perilous

[Gary Alen]

We’re back underway here. We’re made a sub at ht
Harris- Walters on
Teale off

[Gary Alen]

Bees penalty
Sangha is fouled in the box
Story of the night, shorts over from Maddie Phillips
Remains 2-1

[Gary Alen]

Abbi Smith with a decent shot from distance. Well saved by Ashford keeper.

Sangha is proving a real live wire since she came on

[Gary Alen]

Harris-Walter’ss has been completely wiped out. Ashford bench not happy ref has given a freekick. Not sure if he brandished a caution amongst the melly

[Gary Alen]

Ashford player has just swung an elbow which the ref seemed to blow for….. but hasn’t cautioned anyone for.
All getting a bit feisty here and Ashford bench are up in arms.

[Gary Alen]

Lino has just flagged for a Bees handball, but ref waves it on and said it was off her chest…. As you can imagine, that has gone down well with the Ashford bench

[A Real Mysteron]

It genuinely always impresses me how our bench conducts itself, compared to the antics of others.
Both in Karleigh and Carly’s times.

[Gary Alen]

Bees have just been given a contentious corner…. Which from the resulting corner Maddie Phillips just sends a shot mm’s wide. As you can imagine…. It’s gone down with the away side.

Amazed the ref hasn’t brandished a few cards for dissent at least…. He’s getting a right earful. If anything it’s making the ref more entrenched

[Gary Alen]

Bees have another huge shout for a penalty for handball in the box. Ref waves it away with a tap of his chest.

[Gary Alen]

After a manic few minutes there, the game had calmed down a bit. But you get the feeling it’s still just simmering under the surface.

[Gary Alen]

That said, Katie Gilligan has just been picked to the floor off the ball. Ref said it was nothing.

[Gary Alen]

Maddie Philips let’s fly again, and is pushed around the post.

[Gary Alen]

Mille Constantine now lets fly from distance, and it’s just wide of the post.

[Gary Alen]

3-1
Katie Gilligan
Cheatley is fouled, it isn’t given and she is incensed. She remonstrates with the ref, then decides to win the ball and drive forward. It looked destined to go in, but keeper does well. Ball is recycled and then through to Gillian who squeezes her shot in.
Abbi Smith with the assist, but Cheatley created the opportunity.

[Gary Alen]

Cheatley breaks through again, and Ashford defence do enough to put her off her stride. Cheatley certainly wants to make an impression this evening. Is determined.

[Gary Alen]

Bees subs
Sangha & Constantine off
Worsley & McCrea on

[favershambee]

The score is 3-1 but not updated on GPG?

[Gary Alen]

Lovely ball from McRae, just taken off of Worsleys toes as she was to shoot.

[Gary Alen]

We play ourselves into a bit of trouble and Ashford get a decent sniff of a shot

[Gary Alen]

Card is shown to a Ashford defender, not sure what for.

Then Lucy Potter puts in a gut bursting run to put a cross in that just out of reach of Worsley

[Gary Alen]

Worsley gets another chance, but the ball is just stuck under her feet and the chance goes.

['Ayes B]

Constatine to Sangha who square to Cheatley... BOOM!

[Gary Alen]

McRae gets a shot away and it creeps under the keeper, but just creeps past the post. So close

['Ayes B]

88' Renai McCrea is denied by a full stretch Libby Stratton
