You could hear from The West Stand "What the f***ing hell was that", and their players didn't get too close either.

Tragic for the former European champions

They lost to two massively deflected goals in a game of few chances and where, if they could finish (e.g. Ryan Yates’ header), it might have been very different.

Anyway, lovely to see and hope they enjoy the Championship next season.

To be fair, Sels wasnt getting to Thiagos shot if it wasnt deflected

Cause there's not much footage of the away crowd, I'm just imagining that they are clapping and booing at the same time! Weirdos!

[hanworthbee]

Glad they gazumped us for kalimuendo

[Mr Tree]

Do people in England ever refer to them as the Tricky Trees? The Czech commentators LOVE calling them that, and i can't ever recall hearing it in England

They use Citizens for man city a lot too... just a curiosity

How do they refer to West Brom?
The Baggies? Or The Throstles??

We don't get lower league stuff here

I’ve seen quite a few of their lot on X refer to themselves as the tricky trees.

Ugh, disgusting. Also implies that we're related, so that's not cool...

Tottenham are the Lilywhites...

[Houghton Bee]

Wasnt 'tricky trees' a Soccer AM invention?

[JANORAK]

Wasnt 'tricky trees' a Soccer AM invention?

Think so. Never heard it before. Much like ‘Warsaw’, for the third team in Birmingham.

sh*t support tbh , entitled fans. They weren't bad, just a bit unlucky. Hope they sack Glasner and go down.

75% had gone home by this point

[westendbee]

Delap is utter dog sh*t 24 hours of every day.
Anybody with eyeballs has seen this for the last couple of years which is why its so funny that those clown spunked 50 million on him

It’s not just Delap, when they take him off they bring on Chris Wood

[TW3Bee]

It’s not just Delap, when they take him off they bring on Chris Wood

Chris Wood is still living off his very good season a couple of years ago.

[kaebess]

When Woods came on, I thought they have to get better. They didn’t

[Untouchable]

Chris Wood is still living off his very good season a couple of years ago.

And since his double against us at the start of last season, he’s only scored one PL goal!

[Gee Bee]

Glasner seems to infer he’s not being allowed to select a side he wants to. Only ending one way

[Sianist]

I see a divorce quite soon coming.

Glasner seem to make no attempt at hiding that he doesn't really want to be there, and if there's something Marinakis dislikes its lack of ultimative loyalty

[Greybeard]

He's implying not inferring

One of mates who lives abroad also refers to city as the citizens but it's not a nickname I've heard here used much before

Spanish commentators do as well. Also never heard it in England

Delap and Forest are a perfect match.

The slide begins.

Delap looked half decent at Ipswich.

[WarrenBee]

Delap looked half decent at Ipswich.

Yep, another one who should have stayed where he was.

[Gee Bee]

Delap looked half decent at Ipswich.

He scored a few more goals but still looked more often at player rather than the ball with terrible first touch

[jlove]

Yep, another one who should have stayed where he was.

... the other half never materialised!

[Jay Bee]

Must be time for another manager, surely

It's probably inevitable. Their next three are against Man C, Bournemouth and Chelsea - and they never ever beat Bournemouth. The guy is on £13m a year so it's "can we afford to sack this guy without screwing other things up" territory.

Their fans actually seems to quite like Pereira in the spring too. maybe they'll give him a call.

[Mr Tree]

Glasner seems to have Gibbs-White on the right of the front three rather than centre mid, where he's been decent the last couple of years... he hardly figured yesterday

[Stanley]

He scored a few more goals but still looked more often at player rather than the ball with terrible first touch

I always felt I was missing something about Delap's play given the hype and big transfers over him. Having watched him close up live yesterday I realise I am not

[Johnny Bravo]

I'm not sure if it has been said on here the reason why, but what made Glasner go to Florist in the first place?. It is a sideways move at best from Palace. When he announced he was going from Palace a few months before the end of last season, I thought he'd be going upward on the managerial ladder, not stepping sideays. Andoni Iraola is a good example

[aawharris]

Marinakis also dislikes salad

He didn't get the gigs he was hoping for

[Sianist]

Yeah ... Glasner seemingly believed that more of the big teams wanted to look his way and none of them seriously appeared to do so, so he panicked.

[Edmundo]

Watching his press conference, Glasner kept making reference to the next manager. Almost like he was talking himself into the sack.

I don’t think he has a lot of confidence in his own ability.
He did the same thing at Palace towards the end.

This was my favourite bit of his post match interview

Visual irony. Murillo seems to be attempting a Heimlich Manoeuvre on Thiago, but it's not Thiago who's choking. (44:33)

My son got a text from his Uni flat mate after the game.... who's a Forest lad and was there yesterday....to say their supporters were fighting amongst themselves at FT as they were leaving the ground... loyals v disgruntled supporters...was nasty apparently....all is not well amongst supporters of NFFC according to this young fella..... mutiny and rebellion.... watch this space.

Glad you posted this......I was sure when at the game this was clearly a foul. But having seen the pictures it clearly isn't

Liked your post. Like them verbally fighting, not sure the physical aspect these days though.

Suppose that's why their forum have been down since early this morning, deliberate attempt at disabling the fans from flame-warring and/or banding together against those they feel are at fault at the club

.... agree.... but it only takes a one or two looking for an excuse to start.... most clubs have them.

It’s old, historic and nothing do with Lovejoy and his gang, I doubt they ever had an original thought in their lives.

Think it was just one of those things that fell out of favour, like Chelsea Pensioners, Glaziers for Crystal Palace, Cityzens is original too, remember that being their nickname in football reference books I had as a kid in the 70s
