Ethan kept Wissa under control, and Wissa subbed for being ineffective, in last night’s remarkable Coventry 4-1 win over Newcastle.

Likewise Frank TT came on in 2nd half, and strengthed Coventry to suddenly increase their 2-1 lead.

Pleased to see them both getting regular match time in the PL, and Wissa not doing much!

Getting a lot of stick from Newcastle fans now... some calling him one of the worst signing's in premier league history! Absolutely love it.

I watched a bit of the Newcastle game, he does look completely disheartened. I wonder if the money has been worth it for him for the universal dislike he seems to now have from his current club and former club? Some will say he wont care, something tells me he will be very frustrated right now.

Doesn't help that they're playing him in midfield when he's one of the league's best finishers. But let's keep it quiet eh? Don't tell anyone.

Just hope he's not "injured" this time. And/or not dropped from the squad completely by the time we play them......

Odd signing as definitely a player there but more a Teddy sheringham type striker who needs to play as part of a two which teams don’t tend to play at moment, and certainly Wissa not right strike partner.

Honestly though that the 🐍 would 'come good' at Newcastle this season under a different manager/system.
Still a very good finisher in there I think.
But I won't be at all disappointed if he totally crashes and burns!!!

We don't need this kind of rep though do we, my Everton mate reckons Norgaard is a dreadful signing. Players look good for us because we know what we are f***ing doing with them and 80% of us now accept it might take a year or two. Other fans think they are paying top dollar for the ready made article, we need them to continue to believe that.

He was unlucky when he came on the other day, couple of good saves.

Sure but this guys a snake, I don't mind them thinking he's trash. Raya, Mbeumo, Konsa, Tarkowski, Watkins etc have all had pretty good reputations since leaving us. Tbh I thought Norgaard's best days were behind him in his last season with us, so that doesn't surprise me either. Anyway, :backtotopic:

Not quite sure how Everton fans can call Norgaard a dreadful signing when he’s returning from injury and played about 10 mins

He strikes me (no pun intended) as more of a Niall Quinn type who needs a Kevin Phillips regen as a foil... I wouldn't suggest that to the Geordies, mind.

Happened to notice this post from an Evertonian on another forum:
"I wouldn't worry too much for Norgaard. Listening to Moyes he's desperate to get him on the pitch. He bought him on against Chelsea when he was clearly unfit and we was chasing a goal, even if fit it was a bizarre change. Probably the worst sub and debut ever made. No blame on Norgaard, but it showed how desperate Moyes is to get him on the pitch."
