A plea to the moderators

The casual user now finds this forum almost unmanageable. Some of what seemed interesting threads not only have 100-200 replies but were started in 2004. Could you consider closing threads that are more than 1 month old and limiting the numbers of postings to 100 maximum- with maybe exception of match reports etc.
A larger number of smaller threads would lead to better debate maybe

What about if you edit the original post as personally I find 200 posts too many. Make it 20 max :)

Bish/Ace Face can help you with that - 200 new threads when a few sensible posts to say 3 or 4 existing threads would keep the number of posts down but the number of threads up :sorted: (BTW sorry Bish, some of the stuff you post is valid - it might just carry more weight if it was in fewer threads)

Ummm, did I really post this? I cannot recall starting this thread at all. :scratch: Seems a fecking stupid idea. I'm embarrassed to be associated with it and will have a quiet word with myself about my behaviour. :(

And your mind has been wiped of all views that are contradictory to the leader. Another successful job. Another year or so and you'd have been lost to the "other side".

Agreed Mr Tree. Someone mentioned to me yesterday evening that the digests are missed. I think the motivation behind beedeleted's request for this action is similar.

The problem was that once the DJ stuff settled down there just wasn't enough going on most days.

I agree. They really were brilliant and sorely missed. As there seems to be a clamour for their return, I suggest you set yourself aside an hour a day to complete them.

Listen, everyone, important announcement.

As I am now a moderator, I may well begin banning anyone who starts this thread again. I know it's an abuse of power but I must consider my reputation.

Anyways, I think you'll find that I left my computer on one day and someone took it an started posting stuff that I didn't know about. It's the only plausible explanation I can find.

Please, be kind to me folks. Thank you.
