Check on the OS
I'd ask if the training ground, at Jersey Road, is open for spectators (as the club have stewards on the gates now to stop all and sundry turning up to training sessions. You have to ask first now) before turning up, that's if it's there. Or call the club.
Really you can't just turn up now??
Not at the moment. Better off waiting until further into the season. Still send an email to PG first to make sure it's ok. Stewards will just turn you away otherwise.

[/QUOTE]I've never had a problem getting into any official fixture at the training ground. After all it's a league fixture, not a behind closed doors practice match. What happens to any away followers who travel up for the game. Will they be turned away also?. I'd like an answer to this please as I dont fancy a wasted journey.wanderer paul;2198156]Not at the moment. Better off waiting until further into the season. This recent article said "all home games are free for fans to come and watch" so I'm not sure why there should be a problem.

I see today's game is now advertised on the official site with no mention of any limited access. Assume from that it's ok to attend.
I can't imagine any reason why not. If I remember correctly the club had to make some alterations to the training ground to ensure that the facilities were upgraded to make it suitable for public matches to be staged there. I've a feeling that the Development Squad leagues (under 18 and under 21) are required to be open to the public - whether the club likes it, or not.

James Wilson for BCFC
1-0 bees don't know the scorer!
If it wasn't for the fact that I knew who he was, James Wilson wouldn't have stood out for me. He played at right-back but looks a shadow of the confident young player who came here five years ago. He's hardly played more than a handful of first-team games for Bristol City and probably needs a move away and a fresh start somewhere else.
The plusses for Brentford were Alfie Mawson, who looks as if he is reaping the benefits of spending the second half of last season out on loan. He's looking strong, powerful in the air where he hardly missed a ball and he's mobile too for a big centre-back. Very impressive. And also Josh Clarke. I can see him making the first-team bench a few times this season. He's incredibly quick, can take on the full-back and gets a decent enough cross in.
Downsides - yet another penalty missed, this time Luke Norris hit the bar. Can anyone at the club take a successful penalty??
Pierre and Mawson very good at the back.
Hudson played well, had a chance from a corner headed over.
Clarke had a good game, beat his man many times and got some crosses in.
