PUBS - FULHAM - AWAY - Good Friday 3pm ko.

We need to start planning the takeover from early doors.

Durrell Arms is their lads pub.

Voice is an ex-Putney poser and will have some guidance.

I think it's a cafe in Putney at 09:00 and then the build up begins in earnest.

Surely they're all trendy wine bars now? Is the Gloves still there?

I like the sound of the Durrell Arms.

I'm fairly local, and The Durrell Arms is a decent shout if we can get in early enough.

There are three pubs on Fulham High Street just across the river (that I can think of).

The Larrik Inn - pretty spacious pub that tends to be the away pub. Decent little outside area, but not the cheapest.

The Temperance - literally the other side of the road to the Larrik - not a pub I'm especially fond of to be honest.

The Golden Lion - Home only, and they're pretty strict on that.

Further afield there's the White Horse on Parsons Green, which is a great place, and has tended to be more of a Chelsea pub, but since most of our fans will be coming from the other direction I doubt many will go here.

Also, there's the Eight Bells just round the corner from Putney Bridge. Small, characterful place but when I say small, I mean small. When I go to Fulham games (always away end, don't worry) they often stop letting people in an hour before kick-off as it's full up.

I find that the Golden Gloves in the Fulham Road, onced owned by the Mancini brothers of football and boxing fame, is now the Old Suffolk Punch. Sounds awful.

Eight bells is a good away pub if going in by tube. Iron at work always go there.

How does the Golden Lion police home only? No one will have any colours and go in in small numbers.

Been in the Golden Lion many times as my dad used to live a stones throw away. I went in there early morning the day we played Chelsea few a yeaars ago. They do a good, cheap saussage sandwhich. Pub was like soemthing out of green street with loads of Fulham "innits" walking around on their mobiles saying 'when are the brentford coming daaarn'. Probably one to avoid!

I'll put you down for Putney Pubs as your specialist subject if we ever sort out Kings Arm Mastermind.
Give us a clue where the older chaps are planning to pitch camp on the day please.

Breakfast in the Golden Lion and then scout the area for Westwing and the Guardsman Gremlin Crew.
Then one in the Durrell Arns and maybe meet in the Castle. Will be a long fantastic day.

Also you didn't mention the star and garter are you barred?

Bouncers on the door will be checking tickets, but as I told my Fucham supporting mate at work we'll all have tickets in the home end anyway so that won't work.

They put a challenge to BEES fans we take it and shove it in their faces just like we did in Eindehoven with England when they said no beer would be sold in bars etc. Remember voice and remember Millwall didn't make it to the game. Hello Ed.
