New Feature - Ignore Threads

As requested by Alex, we have installed a new feature that allows you to ignore threads.

In a Thread or Forum under Tools (top menu) there is now a function to Ignore Thread (or Unignore) a thread or a forum. Ignoring will make the thread disappear from your view completely.

In "My Setting" there is a item in the left menu called Thread and Forum Ignore Lists where you can check and uncheck things you've ignored.

.......................This looks a good idea, and please excuse my ignorance, but where might I find "My Setting"? - I realise that this post will be held up to ridicule for ever after!...........................

You have to be using the desktop style. My Settings is one of the menu options at the top right of the screen.

..................sorry if it is past your bedtime Les, but what is "desktop" style, and how do I access it - if I am not using it at present (as seems likely) what "style" am I currently using - and can I switch between styles if having switched I find I don't like whichever new one I am then using - and how many "styles" are there? - not including Harry, of course (although recently we've only been going in One Direction).............................

Are you accessing the GPG on a mobile device? If yes, do you always access from a mobile device?

.....................no, and no - unless you mean do I move my PC from room to room (has been known, even house to house!) or use a laptop or tablet (both, but very occasionally) - if you mean mobile phone, then the answer is definitely no..................................HTH

Right, this is getting me confused then. At the top of the screen, do you see something that says "Welcome, wisbee ...."?

The Ignore Thread feature has got me through wibs' crisp nonsense, so a big 'Thank you' to Les.
