sounds like some hack thinking: "ummm... Portsmouth will need a new manager. Wait...didn't MA play for them?" I would imagine that the players would need more of a 'name' if they have been a problem. MA is more likely to go to a big Championship side as far as I can see.

I was under the impression from previous posts on other threads that the Messiah once worked at Portsmouth but left after taking them to an industrial tribunal.
Would therefore some unlikely that he would be in any hurry to go back.
