Has Left Grays ????

haven't they just had there best ever season and won the Fa Trophy 2 years in a row.

New Bees manager maybe :fishing:

Mark Stimson

Well, he's certainly left so that he can pursue his ambition to become a league manager.

Mark Stimson

Both he and his assistant have resigned, don't be surprised if they end up at Stevenage Boro' ;)

resigned from Stevenage to concentrate on his business interests apparently.

I do not like him at all (understatement) apart from his stance against that **** Andy Woodman over an injured trainee's collection monies and attitude, Westley went up quite a bit in my estimations then ! :sorted:

My theory would be that either Tilson or Parkinson will get the Ipswich job. Stimson will take the job at either Southend or Col U

Gee Bee should know :sorted:

Its a theory I have heard, but doubt he will step straight into championship.
Barnet the more likely destination imho. ;)

I haven't seen Southend since Tilson's been in charge; but given that he's got two promotions and Parkinson has done an excellent job I'd go for either of those.

If I was any 'Championship' side I'd take a serious look at Parkinson

Didn't his 'business interests' persuade him to become Farnborough's manager.

He put cash into the club until their cup match away to the Arse when he got his money back (and more) and went to Stevenage.

A right see you next Tuesday in my opinion.

I've also heard Stimson for Millwall as a possibility. Their new boss should be announced today.

Nigel Spackman is the latest rumour. I also heard the Stimson for Col U one.

Jim Smith is to remain as manager and is also on the board at Oxford. :sorted:

Peterboro is a good possibility, although there is a rumour that Fairclough will go back to Stevenage, leaving the Barnet job available for Stimson.

Mark Stimson

Spackman has gone to Millwall.

If we get Stimson, do we have to have Ashley Bayes back too?

Westley will probably be replaced by Brian Talbot. Not sure which is worse!

jeez that Bee H knows his stuff eh ! :D

Mark Stimson

Why did he go to Stevenage so quickly with so many league clubs looking for managers?

Mark Stimson

............oh dear........................

Mark Stimson

To be fair he is a good non league manager, which is where he would've taken Gillingham and almost took Barnet.

I think the day that AS and MS didn't shake hands, there was a pox on both their houses...

Mark Stimson

Is having to face some youth players for their game against Grimsby due to being in a transfer embargo and loan signings not being ratified.. This being to not having wages paid properly.

Have had all their players transfer listed too by the chairman it appears....

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15880214.stm

Another triumph for our man Stimson - he moves in and all the players and moneyman move out!!!

Could not happen to a more deserving guy.

Mark Stimson

I actually feel a little bit sorry for him, its carnage there.

The Chairman seems to have refused to pay half the players because he thinks they are not worth it. He is left trying to keep Kettering in the BSP with youth team players. Must be something about that stadium...is it cursed?

he only had 3 on the bench today..

Managed to keep Thurrock in the Ryman Premier by a couple of points..........................
Only to get docked three points today for fielding a player who had a small Sunday league fine outstanding from 2011. Relegated.
Shame that.

You could feel sorry for him.....................................but I won't

Failed in the Ryman North play off final today losing five nil to Brentwood Town. He did shake hands after though.

Mark Stimson

Might have had his disagreements with Andy Scott, but in his favour he laughed off having the half eaten burger thrown at him at GP, when others would have "made a meal of it"?

I recollect Mike Sullivan the Bees Commercial Manager, who used to work with him telling me what a top bloke Mark Stimson actually is in real life - apparently giving his play off winners' medal from Gillingham to one of their disabled supporters, without ever wanting any fuss or general public knowledge about it. For that reason, he will only ever be a pantomime villian for me and I wish him well, despite the differences we had with him in our League 2 days.

Mark Stimson

The burger chucker denies it to this day he reckons the one he threw had onions in it lol also well known on the GPG. :looks:

Fair play to him - life's too short for grudges like that. Apart from R*wlands, of course.

How can Thurrock be in the Northern division?

Ryman North.

Ryman League covers the south if the country so anything North of London will go in the North Division.

Mark Stimson

The numbers of clubs dont always work out geographically for league admin once relegation is taken into account from higher leagues,

Thamesmead Town had to play in the 'North' this year, though with three 'Northern' teams relegated from Ryman Prmier this year they may get to switch to the South especially as they are due to ground share at Chatham.

Mark Stimson

New manager of AFC Hornchurch.
