A crap signing but I agree that it must have been a real kick in the balls to see those others given a little go whilst he sat in the stands or played non-league.

Mutual consent, would uusally mean an agreed package has been done. He's probably settled for a smaller amount up front now in order that he can find himself a club now rather than wait for his contract to end. He may well have found a club and we might just need to pay off the difference in lost earnings on his current deal. Therefore not having to pay him in full but a % of his contracted sum.
Remember his whole annual salary was in this years budget anyway, so if we paid him off 3 months money, we would be saving 3 months on the budgeted figure as he had 6 months to run on his deal. :fishing:

:wave: Fitz...now offload Oli as I am sure he will impress Helsinborg as we know he can play decent footie (but just couldn't be bothered to show to us when things were going downhill) and we will be saving 4k a week in wages :sorted:

Good riddance to bad rubbish. Had more talent to offer than Onion Bhaji, but showed no commitment whatsoever. In the top five all time wasters at GP, IMHO.

Was never good enough but as others have said the fact Onion Bhaji and Winegum were ahead of him is a joke and says quite alot about Leroy's faults. He was a player who could come up with a goal even if he or the team weren't playing well, the same couldn't be said for the other two strikers

Never seemed to give 100% in my opinion.His appearance at Notts Forest when we won 2-1 ranks alongside one of the most half hearted i have ever seen from a Bees player.Just simply did'nt care or show enough passion in my opinion.

You can't blame Leroy for not playing him, the guy just couldn't be arsed. That was obvious in pre-season and, I suspect, in training as well.. Fitz refused to play him ahead of the guys you've mentioned as well so it was obviously an attitude problem...

.................I don't know how many minutes he played in the red-and-white, but his goal return for us is probably greater than any of our current strike force, with the possible exception of Charlie Ide..............perhaps his 'attitude' was down to the fact that no matter how well he might have played, or goals he might have scored, he knew he was never going to get a proper look-in, or a decent run in the team.............and he had to watch whilst jokers were...............sad that it didn't work out for him here...........

What the management think of him was reflected in the message on the OS. No thanks and best wishes - we probably gave a better farewell to Jamie England after his 2 minutes as a sub. If he'd shown anything in training he would surely have got a game some time.

I expect he will have received an almost full pay-off, perhaps minus what he might get for AFC Wimbledon who can now sign him. We also save on NI, I think - and as he was never going to play for us, any saving is worthwhile

Noticed that he always ran around giving the "thumbs up" sign - in other words "I'm alright Jack - I'm getting paid for doing f*ck all". Never any real effort from the bloke, but thanks all the same for Wrexham. Good luck in the Sunday League.
