Strange, I thought the exact opposite: some nice touches, but gave impression of not bothering much.

Great goal against Millwall, and I recall him picking up a couple of bookings for needless petulance (kicking out after being dispossessed and the like). On one of her rare trips to GP, I remember my wife identifying him as being particularly useless.

So now, like us, he's going for promotion from the 4th tier (though I'm pretty sure that will be semi-pro in Italy)

he never recovered from being made a scapegoat in one particular game we were losing. foreign players are never successful in english football with the possible exception of john chedozie, liam brady and fernando torres. apparently we only bought him to go in that calendar of brentford players with their tits out.

One of the things I remember most about football when I young was a West Ham v Tottenham game. Chedozie was as fast as feck with Lampard Snr at left back who couldn't live with him so he kept booting the living crap out of him. Anyone else remember that?

Didnt we chase this bloke for ages with brighton and I think bristol city fans taking the piss saying he was crap. When he signed he always looked like he should be really good cos he was really tall and skillful but he just didnt do anything. He was 8 foot tall but only wanted to use his left foot so the height was wasted and he had no pace at all. A huge disappointment and huge waste of money when we were warned off from the start.

Some people have already mentioned the goal against Millwall. That was my first Bee's game, lost 3-1, that's bout all I can remember.

I remember him being at some Bees do in Stripes.The team were sitting on a long table behind ours,I fell in love that night:love2:What an Italian dish!

What with all these exciting exotic european imports into the new look Bees....would it not be wise to bring Lorenzo back?...granted he may be 38 or 55 years old now but with his flare and style he would fit into this era much better

I remember once in a pre match pre season warm up he managed to hit the cross bar from about 40 yards.....does anybody recall him doing anything else?

Met him while on holiday a couple of weeks ago in Lake Garda - spotted me in my Bees t shirt and struck up a conversation. He really spoke fondly of his time with us and said he might get back to play in the legends game at the end of the season one year as he keeps being asked. Found his hotel by chance later in the holiday and had one of the best meals of the hols, he really looked after us.
