i'm only going if i can be driven there and back. anyone know what time the coach will be leaving?

For a Tuesday night you're proberbly looking at 1 or 2 pm.

It's not looking likely I can go:sad::sad:
On nights that week could try swapping for following tuesday but accrington stanley is the one I need for 92 club so may have to stick with that.
I'll let you know for sure at macclesfield game week saturday see ya there

I'd like to go but travel arrangements might be a bit difficult. I had been thinking about staying overnight but I'm not sure about that now.

Could be last time bees play christie park they sold there ground to Sainsbury's today,and are moving to new all seater stadium in 2010.

Booked Millenium Suite at Ashley Hotel for my wife and myself for three days taking in the Big Match.

Just hope the weather is good and the match is not postponed!!

No it will be on. The cold weather's from the east and is mainly effecting the south. Touch of sleet maybe. The windchill is going to be murder though- about 22mph. Our boys don't like the cold do they? Somebody should make sure Andy keeps his eye on the heating in the changing room. It will feel cold but the pitch shouldn't be icy, like at Lincoln and Chester. The warm ups are getting more important. Remember, in Andy Scott's playing career, frosts in the south of England had almost died out, then they came back with a vengeance two years ago, probably the result of the shifting Gulf Stream.:grey::grey::grey:

Forcasts not looking the best is it.....

Met Office saying snow Sunday till Tuesday afternoon. :(

Think the game will be on, but problems getting from the snow bound south to it, might be a bit tricky.

yeah good idea most refs feel a bit threatened by an away fan standing there ten hours early with a shovel, if he calls it off only smash his car with it though, if you hit him you may get in trouble.

Just checked the Met Office website, despite this snow travelling North it seems that no snow is forecast in Morecambe between now and the end of the match.

Good luck to those travelling there, including the team. I guess the team are scheduled to travel today, is there a chance of them not making it if it continues like this especially as the snow is forecast to follow them up the motorway to the North West? Maybe a switch to the train might be in order?

The AA says take plenty of food and drink and some blankets. Don't want the team getting frozen so hope Andy stocks up!

If you are driving up there please be careful!

Saying that it's snowing in Sellafield at the moment and that is North of Morecambe :rolleyes:

Light snow has settled overnight- doesn't snow that often here- something to do with being on the coast, Gulf Sream etc

Wouldn't appear to be enough for the game to be called off but can the team get up here????

Hopefully its on, as I've got day off work tomorrow and dotn want to realyl take another off for another Tues.
But weather doesnt look good.
I guess they would call it off tomorrow morning, weather aint gonig to get better during the afternoon into a cold night now isit

Lots of snow in morecambe this morning travel very bad took wife 90 mins to get from morecambe to lancaster (3 miles)
Went past ground this morning no covers on pitch don't think game will be on, mainly because there is lots of snow on terraces so I think it will get called off on safety grounds.
I'll give you updates later..........

That'll be a blow - got 2 days off of work to go this one.

Still doubt I'd get out of East Herts as we've got about 5 inches of snow and its still coming down!

I'd rather this game doesn't go ahead in all honesty. Morecambe are sh*t and with this weather, difficulities in travelling etc, it will play into their hand imo.

Bloke at work who just travelled down from Oldham said there was no snow up there

Looking at Sky News and the weather in England today, I would be surprised if the game was on.
