Sounds like a good young signing, especially as we now have a reserve team. On the understanding that we have Bennett and Phillips signing, this lad could push Osborne to back them up and one of them could get more experience on loan.

If he is anything like some of the players Andy has plucked from obscurity he will be alright. 10 goals in 39 games suggests that unkike some of our previous forwards he knows where goal is:)

Do you reckon he might be a bit handy in the air from set pieces?

Never heard of him but Andy Scott's knowledge of the non-leagues is second to none so i'll trust him on this one. Whether or not Scott knows that Bennett is or isn't signing is unclear but at least we now have more options at centre back.

I also like a centre back who can contribute with goals from set pieces, we haven't had one since Sodje.

Won't be the only one who hasn't heard of him. Pleased that we beat a couple of sides to his signature though.

Would have thought Milwall would have had the better pulling power for him (no offence), but he is well respected in non league football and has shown the promise needed to make the step up.

anything bad, old, rubbish = Karleigh Osborne or Bees United

Only time will tell if AS sees him as cover or as first choice. However, i do like the way that Young Mr Scott has this very robust approach of asking a player if he wants to sign, giving him the opportunity to think it over, and then moving on if no answer is forthcoming. I of course have absolutely no knowledge of the current situ vis a vis Bennett, but I do like the way Andy just moves on. Time, and Andy Scott, waits for no man.

many of our very best signings have been from non-league: o'mara, mansley, hurlock, booker, roberts, dj etc etc etc

Sounds like a fairly decent aqquisition, looks big and strong and scores goals from centre back.

Would guess he'll start the season more in the reserves but hopefully making the step up into the first team if and when needed.

Him and Karleigh could perhaps be quite a formidable pairing in the future a bit like Sonko and Roget before the latter went to pot

Sam Sodge joined us serving a suspension after a build up of red cards and he turned out to be an excellent signing.

Big jump up from the Rymans at aged 24 and Tonbridge is not exactly known for being a breeding place for budding League players but he must have the potential and we said that about Sodje.


Probably no great risk. Looks like Osborne and he will be back up for Bennett and Phillips

I get the feeling we are going to miss out on Bennett. AS is making sure we are not short in that department when the season begins. From what I can understand Bennett has been offered avery good deal, but he is obviously holding out for more one way or the other. He has gone down in my estimation, as He owes it to the club. without his loan spels at the club Bennett would be pretty obscure. I also hope the club do not break the bank to sign him.

Suspect that Terry Bullivant is very well connected too at all levels of the game from the very top to the lower levels o the Pyramid.
