Man of the Match v Huddersfield (Sept 12)

Thought Sam Wood had a very good second half containing Pilkington and our emergency left back grew in confidence - a positive response from last week.

KOC was ffective and Talor & Kabba shone at times. Phillips ever dependable, Wilson pure class. Price unflappable!

If there was a vote for the team (and management getting tactics & selection right) that's where my vote would have gone.

The back five plus O'Connor and Hunt hardly put a foot wrong defensively.

I though O'Connor was the best of the lot.

Wilson for me thought he looked pure class at right back deffended well and had a couple of very good runs ,the run in the second half finished off with a little side footed pass through to Kabba was premiership quality , also thought KOC did very well

Tempted to choose Kabba but he fell over a bit too much, wrong studs perhaps, even if he did bounce back up again to perplex his marker! The chances missed by Taylor and Weston disqualify them, even though they weren't quite as easy as they seemed.

Good defensive performance, would have gone for Bennett but for a howler that got tidied up, or Wilson on the basis that he did well enough that I completely failed to notice him at all. Price didn't put a foot wrong or at any time look to be troubled, claiming everything with confidence and making a couple of very decent saves so he gets my vote.
