Don't know what you've been looking at cos I haven't posted for a long time! So if someone is posting under my name beware! I'm still here always watching, and know what you've been talking about for the last couple of weeks. I agree with Gibbo about his sentiments concerning the fans, support, abuse, encouragement etc. after all WE are supposed to be a CLUB and that doesn't just mean the players or the management but the fans and everyone associated with Brentford F.C home and abroad. It amazes me that some people come on here just to slag people off be it the players, staff, each other and any one else they can think of. Sometimes it feels as though some people just come to Griffin Park to have a go at someone or anyone because they have nothing better to do! Either that or they're getting beaten up by the wife at home and want to take revenge on someone else!!!! As Gibbo says we're trying as hard as we can to put things right on the field, but we are only going to get so far unless EVERYONE is on the same side. We all know it is frustrating at times watching us play and believe me we don't enjoy playing badly and getting beaten all the time, but remember this is our job and if we don't get it right our careers are more or less over- which I for one don't exactly relish the prospect of!! Maybe the change in situation at the club may help but then again it may take time if different tactics or approaches are used so now is the time when you may have to be patient, but I'm positive it'll be worth while in the long run if we all stick together! Let's play,support,sing and win together- it's the only way to suceed.
P.S I'd like to say the comments regarding Pete Gilham and responses to his messages are totally out of order.He is a well respected member of BFC and many players owe a lot to his enthusiasm and commitment to the club.PG IS Brentford FC and if abusing him makes people think the club is going to get anywhere, think again, he has more ideas, and passion than anyone else at the club and taking a leaf out of his book may just benefit everyone else associated with it. That includes the players as well as the fans. Let's stick together! It makes sense!
