    Brentford picture

Late '90's I'd guess judging by the GMB advertising hoardings in the background. I think they were associated with us in the Noades era.

Match day programmes from Curtis Sport

I've got a copy of that photo (in its full landscape format) framed in my hallway. Bought it from a photographic agency years ago.

    AFC Wimbledon

Yes, three sides of the ground are temporary stands - that's why they've been erected in double quick time. There is plenty of space behind them to build larger more permanent stands in order to reach that 20,000 capacity at a later date, though I would have thought that is a long way off.

Ivan Toney - Signs to June 2025

Do you not think that we'll be able to hold onto him in the Prem then? :sorted:

    GONE Said Benrahma

Reminds me of of the occasion when I was about to exchange contracts on my flat and the buyer demanded a reduction of nearly 10%, thinking that I had no option but to accept. As it happened I had plenty of alternatives and therefore told him that the asking price had just gone UP 10%. The sale...

    Conditions of PL Financial Support

The Telegraph's story suggest 25% of the PL revenues to be distributed go the EFL. But the bullet point details state 25% of PL and EFL revenues, which is a somewhat different thing and a much lower level of redistribution, particularly when you take account of the loss of income from the League...

How will/should LR and other stadiums open/reopen to fans?

At the risk of stating the obvious, deaths are a lagging indicator. We will only know how many of those 400,000 have died as a result of Covid in the weeks to come. That figure of October deaths reflects the much lower rates in August and early September. And we wont know for many months how...

    Conditions of PL Financial Support

I wonder what the metrics are by which they judge the success of the arrangement elsewhere? It's certainly not in the level of spectator interest. Crowds for league fixtures involving the B teams of top clubs are tiny everywhere on the continent. We tend to forget that the greatest strength of...

Match day programmes from Curtis Sport

I much prefer the character and individuality of the old '70's and '80's programmes (I just recently bought an entire collection of home and aways from that era, which is making me very happy) but this season's edition is very good. Possibly the best designed that we've produced and much better...

Halil Dervişoğlu - (June 2024 - Season Loan to FC Twente)

Kamo might not have been quite the player we expected but he wasn't really a failure.

    Final Score Millwall 1 - 1 Bees (Toney(p))

Odd. I've had a picture from the New Den since 2pm.

    James Tarkowski

Which, I would imagine, probably covers the gate receipts we will be likely to lose as a result of Covid. Its utterly bizarre to think that we have probably traded ourselves into a position where we are one of the financially strongest clubs in the Championship. I'm running out of superlatives...

Club's Offer to Premium Seats Holders and Season Tickets Holders

I think this is the risk if the club takes a cavalier approach to its core support. Right now its looking very unlikely that we will get to see any live football in a ground until Spring 2021 at the earliest. That will be a year away from the game which is long enough to break ingrained habits...

    Chelsea v Russian side - Early 1950s?

That will presumably be the famous Moscow Dynamo tour of Britain in 1945. At least 85,000, and possibly as many as 100,000 at Stamford Bridge to see them play Chelsea.

Out on Loan Julian Jeanvier (Kasımpaşa)

Not much of a cauldron at his new club. In 2018/19 their average home crowd was 2,800.
