That has been said quite a lot over the years but I wonder how often it actually happened. I think he did very well for us and expected him to go higher tbh, but then he comes from the IOW so I am immediately biased on this one! :)
Yeah, but there is only one (perhaps two) here where there were particular objections based on offensiveness: the West London chant and perhaps Let him die. I agree with you that the first one could be easily resolved by the rewording of one sentence, though I can't say I expect this to happen...
Yep, Rico particularly is generally receiving the ball completely surrounded by opponents with very few options at all. At least Ajer is sometimes getting forward to support Sergi but, as Les mentioned, their crossing was disappointing Saturday
Other than the first half free kick by Mbuemo I cannot remember a ball being crossed in above head height even when there were opportunities to do so. Perhaps the thinking was that BHA were more vulnerable to low crosses but it seems odd when your central striker is as good in the air as Toney.
This is spot on but I think (and I am pretty sure TF will as well) we need to improve on this a bit. Our midfield is incredibly competitive and energetic but we are going to need a bit more composure, particularly against teams we have a decent chance of beating.
Saturday, our loss of any real...
Three big thankyous as my champagne moments. To:
1/ @Bees1994 for the loan of his brother's season ticket! Up with the noisy boys which was great fun! :)
2/ The very nice person who handed my new bank card into the club, which went missing on the way to the ground.
3/ The club for contacting me...
