    2020/21 Kit - Now Announced

Looks as though they were wearing black shorts on one of the pictures but difficult to be certain. It could have been burgundy which would have been appropriate. The socks can't be all white surely,if so how boring, surely they must have the historical colour trim at least at the top. It...

Does anyone know what the shorts ? Burgundy or black and the socks design are for the new third kit?

Sales will be very biased to the team's success each year, especially at the start of the season eg last year not at all good, but I suppose we've ended up fairly evenly each year. I don't suppose the club would release data on sales. The GPG must be fairly representative of the most committed...

    2020/21 Kit - Now Announced

It would be very interesting to know how the decision is made. I suspect it will be predominantly commercial, perhaps involving the sponsor's views on how shirt colour may enhance the perception of their logo, although more likely for far more trivial reasons. For those interested in the...

Nonsense. Look at the evidence there is, although I agree it is limited. A comparison with fluorescent colours has never been made. I think there might be a useful sports psychology PhD in all this, co-operating with visual science. It didn't look too bad, other than very bland yesterday, but...

'perceptive' sorry. You obviously have no interest in science/pyschology judging by your 'erudite' reply.

Sorry, and what is the evidence base for stating that. The former is within our control, the latter is not. It's the accuracy of our precision passing esp. at long-distance (an important part of our game), which may be adversely affected. One extra goal last season could have made all the...

In terms of visual perspective, very similar I'm afraid.

The evidence supports red, for psychological and possibly visual perseptive reasons, as being the most effective colour in sport, so the home shirt is good[. The away kit is not a good choice and even abandoned one year by a topnflight team (? Man Utd).

    2020/21 Kit - Now Announced

The away strip last year was very different , a very dark colour brightly contrasted with very bright yellow on the shirt, on the shorts and with the socks. This is likely to give some visual perspective advantage, whereas all grey with no colour contrast on a grey, wet day is the worst possible...

Away kit disastrous. Why put us at a visual perceptive disadvantage. It will cost us and just a single point as we all know can prove the difference between success and failure. Fine margins!!!

    2020/21 Kit - Now Announced

Hopefully soon. It takes me ages to paint my Subbuteo teams. Sadly, I'm going to have to buy both Wycombe and Watford now. Please stick with the black and yellow and keep the commemorative shirt as third colours. I've only just painted that one.
