    Kristoffer Ajer

And for the goalline clearance he was the one playing Salah onside in the first place. But apart from that very impressive especially going forward where he gives us a different dimension.

    Rico Henry

Traore is completely unstoppable. Don't believe there is a defender in the PL who could stop him getting around them more often than not. Luckily there's nothing else to his game.

Fair play to Jermaine Jenas for that appreciation of Norgaard, he deserves a bit of recognition.

Wolves vs Brentford Top, Top Champagne Moment

    Cheered that like a goal.

Yes, he will return but let's not hide from the facts. But the bigger story is the performance of the team afterwards. Exceptional.

Shandon let his teammates down. There is no getting away from that.

Unbelievable performance with 11 and then with 10. 10/10 performances from Toney, Norgaard, and Ajer. I need a lie down now!

    Rico Henry

It's not news at all, just a fan's opinion. Having said that I'm sure Rico will have many more admirers by the end of the season

Summer 2021 Transfer Window (Non Brentford)

Agree, they have massively overpaid and might suffer for it in the near future.

    Joel Valencia

If you were a scout for Peterborough or Coventry I think there would be loads of players you would look at before Valencia. There may be a Championship player in there but there isn't much evidence for it so far. If he wants to stay in England Crewe is about as good as it gets I would think.

    Joel Valencia

It's not that big a step down from not getting games in the Championship.

    General Transfer Rumours (Summer 2021)

Steve Cook on a season loan would be excellent cover IMO.

    Rico Henry

I wonder if we'll see a few new contracts once the transfer deadline comes around. Rico, Mbeumo, maybe Janelt.

That's Toney. That's what he's always been like. Maupay was the same, it is a good thing in a striker to love winding up the opposition.

Final Score Aston Villa 1 Brentford 1 (Toney)

I am in awe of our tenacity and organisation off the ball. We just continously snuff out threats. Our attack isn't as potent in this league and we have made up for it by just shutting down games. Players and coaches are playing a blinder. Draw was a fair result overall. I can't wait to see...

We will face better players than those two so will have to learn to deal with it. Having said that if Ollie scored against us it would be extra painful however irrational that might be.

    He hadn't kicked it.

It's a daft rule but it's been that way for a long time hence George Best's similar goal not counting. Until it hits his boot it is under the keeper's control and can't be touched.

Good game. We have been the better team but it could still go either way. Shame we got sloppy for the goal. Ghoddos and Toney the stand outs.

I haven't been Ghoddos's biggest fan but I don't think he was awful on Tuesday at all. He played OK. Bidstrup was much worse. In any case he has his chance and perhaps this system will suit him. They are missing Bailey, Mings, McGinn and others so this is a great opportunity for a win.
