Thomas Frank mentioned it himself, I believe

Hickey would fit in so well for a ton of reasons. Lets us play 3 at the back with a more attacking (natural) RWB. Lets us Go 4 at the back with Ajer able to play his normal position. If there is an injury to Rico, he can just flip sides and we can have Roerslev come in as the backup on the right...

General Summer 2022 Transfer Window (Brentford only)

Originally, I was thinking that I don't entirely agree, just due his versatility. But thinking about it more, the versatility matter less with 5 subs. There are more options available and with 3 it's very useful to have a player like him that is maybe the second best option at 4 or 5...

With all due respect, are you Charlie Goode?

My concerns with a Benhrama transfer are as follows: 1. He's a known quantity, so Brentford are not getting value for money the way they usually do. 2. He'll be 27 by the time the next season starts. Not old by any means, but for a player that relies on speed, it's not super young either. Very...

Some people are going to complain no matter what. I wonder when they start to realize that the competition now consists of Premier League and other top clubs around the world, as opposed to other Championship sides?

My concern with Benhrama is that he's a bit of a 'known quantity.' Brentford's business model is finding the unknown and putting them in a position to succeed. I understand that maybe he wasn't used perfectly by West Ham and perhaps we could get him back cheaper... but could that money be better...

Perhaps not, I was under the impression he’d had a poor season, though.

Villa, Everton… guess it’s hard to say because the teams coming to mind are going down!

I do think that we've been a bit unfair to Alvaro - he was stuck in the net during the team's absolute lowest point of the season. He didn't look great, but no one did. xG measurements suggest that he saved more than his fair share of shots. He's clearly a good shot-stopper, but needs to learn...

He didn’t confirm it but in a post match interview he did talk about how he has to play ‘men’s football’ and that going outside of the B team is probably the next step for him, before the premier league. So a loan is the assumption, nothing else really fits that

Not sure I would want Pukki. I think we would be better off moving to 3 and relying on speed. I would be nervous going into the season with a front three with Mbeumo at center and a lineup of Wissa, Canos, then potentially a few of Ghoddos, Mudryk, KLP, and Brennan Johnson, without a doubt. But...

General Summer 2022 Transfer Window (Brentford only)

I had considered Bryan as the center in a front three. I think he's got the potential to excel there, especially if it ends up that there is a wealth of speed and creativity around him. I think that is part of the reason the club is linked with a lot of speedy young wingers. Having an extremely...

General Summer 2022 Transfer Window (Brentford only)

You aren't wrong, but the team's number one priority HAS to be staying in the Premier league. If they are unsure about finding a replacement for a player, they have to be careful about selling, or set the price absurdly high. We have no one ready to play a LB/LWB role, so if Rico is being looked...

I don't necessarily think that Alvaro is bad, and some of the goalkeeping statistics have shown that he's a fine shot stopper. The issue is in his distribution and command of the box. If there are no better options, I think hanging onto him would be fine... but I do think that a better option...

General Summer 2022 Transfer Window (Brentford only)

I think that the team is in great shape for next season so long as they retain Eriksen. However, they do have a weakness: the potential budget compared to other Premier league teams with a lot of cash. So I think the team needs to do more about signing youth that can grow and potentially be sold...

I can't help but be nervous the longer it goes on, lets more teams get in on him. I'm very hopeful though, seems like he would be an amazing addition.

Now being reported that Solomon to Fulham is a done deal. Wonder if that lets them turn their attention to finalizing the Mudryk deal?

Must’ve slept through all of January! Young, pacey and talented winger. His best big stage showing was a champions’ league match where they played Real Madrid and he made a number of good plays. Feels as though he’s got truly sky high potential

Yeah, I am not 100% convinced that Alvaro is the answer but I am sure that Lossl isn't it. Fernandez has some trouble commanding the area and playing the ball, but he is young and these skills can be worked on. Lossl isn't getting any better and he had one save in three matches, with some very...
