Did anybody kick up this much fuss when London Broncos played at Griffin Park (2002-06) they were originally called Fulham R.L.F.C and started out at Craven Cottage. Or when Chelsea reserves played home games at GP?
Seeing as London Irish currently play in the premiership and we are in the championship I don’t see a issue, however if we get promoted I will be furious if I am asked to give up my seat when we play them.
I’ve had a few beers now and am still stewing on the result/performance, so probably not the best time to post, but not for the first time I find myself questioning the character of this team. We just seem to lack resolve. If a team with supposedly inferior players are prepared to outrun us...
Club have to make a reasonable profit to make the event worthwhile, I actually don’t think it’s too bad, burger, pie, 2 beers and game would cost a tenner to watch on ifollow anyway, although the kids tickets should be £20 max. It will sell out.
Its not claimed to make a empty stadium look full, but when there is crowds in the stadium it is supposed to make any empty seat stand out less from a televisual perspective due to the colours being jumbled up rather than the vacant seats being all of the same colour. Reason given for this...
Bit disappointing that the new stadium is barely mentioned in it, I know the club have released video footage but I thought it might at least contain one article or photo of it.
I didn’t get the Wycombe programme so can only presume it was all covered in that one.
Base my opinion and response on what is or isn’t being offered by the actual club when officially announced which should be very soon. By all means work people into a frenzy then, but let’s just wait shall we.
Premium seat holders will have paid the license fee attached to buying their seat. License fees range from £4,000 to £600 (not including VAT) I’m in the legends lounge so have already paid £720 (inc VAT) Club statement means I will not pay the £99 a month rolling fee until full capacity is...
I think this has some merit. I do feel towards the end of the season we were a bit over reliant on Benrahma to provide our attacking threat, a bit like when everything went through Alan Judge and our general play suffered as a result.
