Yes, three sides of the ground are temporary stands - that's why they've been erected in double quick time. There is plenty of space behind them to build larger more permanent stands in order to reach that 20,000 capacity at a later date, though I would have thought that is a long way off.

    Conditions of PL Financial Support

The Telegraph's story suggest 25% of the PL revenues to be distributed go the EFL. But the bullet point details state 25% of PL and EFL revenues, which is a somewhat different thing and a much lower level of redistribution, particularly when you take account of the loss of income from the League...

    Conditions of PL Financial Support

I wonder what the metrics are by which they judge the success of the arrangement elsewhere? It's certainly not in the level of spectator interest. Crowds for league fixtures involving the B teams of top clubs are tiny everywhere on the continent. We tend to forget that the greatest strength of...

    Chelsea v Russian side - Early 1950s?

That will presumably be the famous Moscow Dynamo tour of Britain in 1945. At least 85,000, and possibly as many as 100,000 at Stamford Bridge to see them play Chelsea. https://flashbak.com/in-1945-dynamo-moscow-sparked-chaos-at-chelsea-and-cheated-arsenal-45695/

AFC Wimbledon to Groundshare at QPR

A permanent and quite substantial main stand and three much smaller temporary stands. I think the main stand is nearly completed and the temporary ones are going up rapidly.

AFC Wimbledon to Groundshare at QPR

Why 'wow'? It's been known for ages that their new ground won't be ready for the start of the season and they needed a temporary home for the first 6 weeks or so. This makes perfect sense.

    Fulham or Cardiff?

Is Mitrovic really injured? Or have they realised they function better without him?

    The Run-In: Other Clubs

Hands still shaking so that its difficult to type. Tommorow is our biggest game since, when, the 1930's?

League 1 Play-Offs - Who do we want?

It was. The away end hadn't yet been converted to seats when we made our early league visits to Adams Park in the mid 90's.

    The Run-In: Other Clubs

My worry is that in chasing 2nd place we risk damaging our play off chances. With a physically and mentally fit squad I would fancy us against anybody in the Play Offs but unlike Fulham and Forest, who can now rest players, we are still committed to going for broke over the next three games...

Non Bees games you've attended 2016/2017

In Manchester for the weekend, I swapped one 2-0 home defeat for another, watching Oldham go down 2-0 to Bristol Rovers in front of 4,394, including a good contingent of Rovers fans. Oldham actually played some decent stuff - they try to get the ball down and play - but lacked punch and Rovers...

    Championship Attendances

I think it's more a case of a concentration of the better supported clubs playing at home on the same day. Had those fixtures been reversed only Newcastle and possibly Forest would have cleared 20,000. Other than the obvious impact of Newcastle and Villa coming down I don't see any significant...

This one is :). Absolutely delighted for Wimbledon but justice won't quite be served until they move above the Franchise in the pyramid.

I'm afraid I'm going to make you even more insanely jealous. I'm in a hospitality suite for all five days with free food and drink. Cape Town is stunning. And very hot indeed.
