The bandwagon ain’t for stopping...2-0 bees (Toney and canos)....the smoggies home record this season is awful and we win it at a canter ;)

Since we beat them in the cup they have lost to Birmingham, Blackburn and Rotherham (0v3) all at home. But equally, as well as beating Forest, they held Norwich (away) in their most recent game. And we know how they can set up to frustrate. So a tight win to us - 1v0 (Ivan)

Very hard to Judge this one, If Warnock employs his usual anti football tactics that will stifle any resemblance of a game of football, It will be high balls launched into our penalty area and them clogging their way around, won't be very pretty to watch, not a game to be enjoyed at all, going for 1-1, will be happy to come away from there with that result, but especially with no injury problems.

I am a bit worried about this. Warnock has delved into the transfer market and got his selected henchmen in, so they will be going for it now.
Happy to get through this one injury free.

Boro have lost their last 3 home games.
It's rare for anyone to lose 4 homes on the trot so I'm going for a 1-1 draw, law of averages and all that...

I think we’re much more of an attacking threat than the last time we played them. With them likely to go man for man again we need players to commit defenders and Sergi and Fosu are doing just that currently. Hopefully JDS will be back too to help pull them apart. 2-0 bees. Statement..

My prediction is that I think this will be a tough game. They have had a week off, got some new players signed including Kebano from Fulham. Give me a point now and I'll be happy.

Warnock will be licking his lips at playing those soft fancy dans from Brentford. He’ll be telling his henchman ‘just go at ‘em hard, they always roll over in the face of a physical bombardment’.
Not no more, Colin.
0-2 Bees

For me, this was always going to be extremely difficult, regardless of Boro's home record (whatever that may be.)

Warnock's record against us isn't such a bad one, he reminds me very much like the ex Huddersfield manager Peter Jackson who always had "a thing" with Brentford, to me, Warnock is of the same ilk. No matter how inconsistent Boro maybe, make no mistake, us playing at the Riverside will always be difficult and even when we play them at home - it's never easy.

I'd bee happy if we came away undefeated.

Times, they are a changing! Wornouts scrumhalfs 0, the slick goal scoring Super Bees 4. Wornout, not in a happy place at 94 minutes!

They will get in our faces and try to disrupt play and score from set pieces. The pitch will be heavy too. I've got this one classified as a fight so we need a lineup that can deal with it . Really hope Josh is fit.
TBH l'd settle for a draw.

Wish we'd had a bit more time to practice our defending of set pieces, but I still think we'll have too much for them. Going for a 1-2 away win Toney and Ghoddos and great delight from our travelling 200, well Pontus and Phil Giles.

Not sure about the score. But I’m pretty sure the Boro players will be dropping like stones with any tackle within the 10/20 yards of our penalty area.

1-1 NW will be demanding them to throw every cross possible into the box.

Bad feeling about this one. Our defending has been dreadful last couple of games and our policy of shrugging our shoulders and just scoring more than the other lot might not work so well against Bus Parker-Warnock. I fear an end to the run and a 2-0 defeat. Hopefully I'm well off the mark.

I didn't think they were as negative in the league game at LR as I thought they would be but that was early in the present manager's reign and I expect, by now, they will be releasing their inner-Warnock. Presuming we deal properly with centres and dead ball stuff we will be OK and will take control in the second half. 0-2 (Josh and Ivan).

We can't stop winning. We've got the winning habit, and the high-scoring habit too. I don't see why it should stop. I don't suppose the players do either.

I'm the world's worst tipster, so rather than making a prediction, I'll leave you with a summary of our recent record against Boro.

Since we got into the Championship (season 2014/15), we've played them 14 times (incls 2 play-off games and 1 FA Cup)

The first 9 games saw us beaten 7 times, with just 2 draws i.e. 2 points of 27 in "league" terms, with a GD of -12

But in the last 5 games, we've won 4 and drawn 1 i.e. 13 "points" from 15, with a GD of +4.

All-time record: W11 D6 L14

Shock 2-1 defeat after the aerial bombardment once again shows our recent inability to deal with crosses into our box ☹

Would be very happy to take a point, Boro are flirting with the play offs for a reason and we’re struggling to defend at the moment. I think Reid will start too

Glass half full, we cant stop winning. Half empty, the run must end sometime. I dont think home or away matters at the moment so going to be positive and go for a hard fought 1-0 (Toney).

Too much negativity on here ......... Swans v Norwich = a drraw .....Bees remain 2nd ....and can go TOP with 2 games in hand.
Reid could be well up for this ..... but even if he doesn't play, Bees will tighten up in defence and produce a solid C L E A N S H E E T.
So, Boro 0 v Bees 1

Two tough games coming up (although all are tough in the Championship), Boro will be a battle in what are expected to be sleety
conditions, Reading have some really good players and will give us a tough test, after that (on paper) our games look to be a
bit easier.

Could really do with a clean sheet here as the Reading game will likely be a goal fest.
Boro 0 - 2 Brentford.

Toney, JDS.

Mr Warnock will board up the goal and replay the Alamo but Bees won't be denied so 1-0 and Toney on target. Otherwise 0-0.

Snow is forecast for up there in the wilds of Middlesbrough. It’ll be a combination of rain, sleet and snow as the afternoon goes on.
Certainly by kick-off the temperature is forecast to be just on freezing, and feel like -2C.

Hope that this won’t be an unnecessary trip all the way up there for nothing to happen.

If it’s all square going into the last 25 minutes, we’ll win.
If we are ahead going into the last 25 minutes, we’ll win.
If they are ahead going into the last 25 minutes, we’ll draw.

So with the conditions and the Warnock approach to football, it may become a bit of a tough snowball battle.

But we won’t lose!!!

Ah Warnock again. This won't be a football match, but a war of attrition. One thing for sure if we continue the recent trend of conceeding one or two soft goals the unbeaten run will end. Personally I would be delighted to come away from there with a point.

1-1 I think. They caused us problems in the league game at home.

If Josh Da Silva is out again, we might struggle a little in the centre, more than we did against Bristol C and more than we did against them in the cup.

If Swansea vs Norwich is a draw, I'd be happy with a draw tomorrow.

I think they are a tough team but 1 win in 9, we should have too much for them for what would be a very important win,
