Isn't the second from the left at the back Tom Anthony and the second from the left at the front a young Peter Gelson?
I saw him after the game and said I had a picture from the late 1890's...............Joebee????............

Don’t think Tommy Anthony was part of Brentford Youth in the 1950’s I remember playing with him on Sundays in the early 1960’sAnthony probably but never Gelson

Would that make the pic between 1957 and 1963, if a Birmingham City book source is to be believed about Goodwin being back with the club in a coaching capacity in those years?Jackie Goodwin far right.
Thanks Paul, will try and put a few names to the faces, as rebus said mainly lads who played i n the Seanglian league and Combination side, Jackie Goodwin and Jimmy Carr (next to Dennis Piggot) managed the youth and Seanglian teams.I saw him after the game and said I had a picture from the late 1890's.![]()

I have vague recollections of being told that behind those windows was some electrical stuff. I think that former GPG stalwart, Nigel Brooks's dad did some work at the ground in the 60s and fuse boxes etc were housed there. He was a sparks in the area and I'm sure I heard this from him.Above the short guy on the left of the photo in a tracksuit is what appears to be a pair of windows in the stand, what was behind them (f they were windows)?
His son Dave went to my school. He was a decent player too and turned out for my Saturday side a few times later on.Yes, pretty sure that's Jackie Goodwin. Used to see him a lot when I was growing up on the Medway Estate in Perivale, just off the A40 in the late '60s/early '70s. I remember a neighbour saying what a good player he was, and having an ex-player from your boyhood club living close by was quite cool. Just as good was having John Docherty and Gordon Sweetzer turn up at a school football training session in the late '70s (this was Burlington Danes in East Acton). I was too gobsmacked to say anything!
Pic is definitely Tommy Anthony though!Don’t think Tommy Anthony was part of Brentford Youth in the 1950’s I remember playing with him on Sundays in the early 1960’s
Jimmy Gitsham is not in the photo. I worked with him in the early 60's.Front far right looks like John Docherty ( probably not) , also think Jimmy Gitsham played in that era but would not recognise him.
