I have just booked ticket for the Nice and Espanyol games. How do i print the tickets off? I was sent a "purchase confirmation" email but i havent (as of yet) receieved an email with any tickets enclosed. Does it take a while for the ticket email to be processed? Have i done something wrong?

Pain that it's A4. According to the ticket office if you fold it, you only need to make sure that the barcode at the top of the page isn't folded all the rest doesn't matter. Makes you wonder whether you could just cut the top bit off...

When I booked there were no seats available in row H. Whether the system thinks its a league match and all seats are blocked as STs I don't know. It might be to protect the Espanyol bench! Btw the last capitals in my post were inadvertant, not sarcy. Sorry. See you there.

I appreciate it wont be anywhere near a sell out but allocated seating gives ST holders the freedom of sitting in their preferred spot (next to friends and family) and it doesn't impact on non ST's either.

Reserved my seat in new road for all three mate, no problem selecting the seat online but I got in quick lol so someone else may have booked it by now.

Just spoken to my daughter who speaks fluent Spanish. She has just translated an article from the Espanyol website that says Espanyol were keen to play the friendly but due to an internal issue at BFC, Brentford were unable to fufill their pre season friendly promises

Although they had a lot of defeats last season, I believe they also drew with giants Real Madrid and Barcelona, as well as beating Atletico Madrid 3-0!
Clearly they have awesome ability if you get them on a good day...

due to circumstances beyond the control of Brentford Football Club

So who is at fault here? What crazy conspiracy theory is behind this change?

From the wording it didn't sound like something wrong from Espanyol's end, given it didn't implicate them at all. The match agent though....? Seems something way above my pay grade (of nothing...)

Maybe like how in business you have a 'finders fee' if someone sets up two interested parties for a takeover or so, maybe there was a fee arranged for the agent who put the game together who is now demanding an unreasonable payment? Best I can come up with.

The agent clearly expected to make up the rest of the fee in TV rights etc. Unfortunately, the agent has been hospitalised and unable to meet his obligations and we were unable to agree a compromise with Espanyol, as they were expecting a much bigger sum than we were prepared to pay. It is much smoother when the clubs do business directly, but more and more of these type of matches are being arranged by agents. Anyway, I hope that clears the matter up.
