It would be a good time to relegate Derby and Sheff Weds and only have 42 games !!!

One good thing with the 13 midweeks is that they all used to be on Sky

No news yet about extra games or red button games

It depends on Sky being told by Government I guess if grounds stay empty

It is what it is but did anyone else relive the pain of the 4th August when looking at the PL fixtures this morning? The thoughts of what could have been!

However I think tomorrow more than any day since the final will close one chapter and open the next. We'll have a set of fixtures to focus the players and fans; lets give it another go.

One positive of this morning, imagine the excitement but pure disappointment of going to Anfield or playing Arsenal at home and we couldn't attend. This might end up being a better season to go up.

When do Sky announce their first live games?
Is it right after the fixture announcement tomorrow, or much later?

Always a day to look forward to is the release of the league fixtures but just doesn’t have the same enthusiasm about it when we probably won’t be able to attend a great many of the games.

... at least it should get that result off BBC Sport's Championship page.

Cardiff (h)
Bournemouth (a)
Watford (h)
Bristol City (a)

Winter trips up north look to be limited to Middlesbro'

Not sure we could have asked for a better set of fixtures TBH

We play Reading twice in a month and Hudders, Brum, PNE & Milwall at either end of the season - seems a bit barmy

Only one home game (instead of possible two) before October when fans might be allowed in. That’s the biggest result in my book.

so PNE could be the first game with fans? would mean only the 1 game at home with no fans

Yep. If we asked for the first game to be played away from home then that's very clever :sorted:

Fixture list announcement doesn’t have the same magic for me this time. Usually it’s straight to the calendar to work out which away games I can get to. This season......none for the foreseeable future. ☹

Strange feeling seeing the fixtures, no huge teams in the league this year, early chance to get the frustrations of points dropped at Millwall and Luton last season avenged, six midweek games before Christmas ( so hoping we're allowed in for the Swansea, Norwich and Derby games floodlit games), Cardiff on boxing day suits me here in South wales, not many games before transfer deadline when I suspect we'll have a couple of players still in the shop window, no one to fear and hoping by delaying Arsenal at home for a year we'll be in even better shape.

I genuinely don’t think we can look too much into a potentially tough run in this season.... it will be the most unpredictable on record. Expect more than 1 team getting a points deduction, the previous “big spenders” such as Bristol City, Derby etc might cut back this year, Watford are a totally unknown force, Bournemouth could potentially “do a Huddersfield” and struggle, Norwich will lose a lot of players and rely on their excellent recruitment.

I know it would be great to be in The Prem but I love the unpredictability of this league.

My feelings are less about who we are playing when but about when I will actually attend a game and where.

Same here. A thoroughly depressing read seeing all the games we will miss out on, home and away.

Yeah that's not an easy start IMO....quite an ugly first few fixtures. Three teams who like to frustrate us to kick us off along with Preston who may try to do the same. We had a friendlier list on the whole last season.

We start and end with away games. Is that allowed?
