do my eyes deceive me or have they gone for proper badges rather than ironed on crap? if so some of that stuff looks very smart indeed.

yeah, but actually, i looked at it wanting to buy something and came away shrugging - good but not great...

I just went to order a couple of bits and noticed there’s no option to put your loyalty code or whatever it was called.

Has that been done away with and if so what happened to all the unused credit?

I'd be happy with a red, white and black version of Caen's shirt a few years ago.

Seems to be getting rather late in the day to reveal a new kit, you'd think the decision has been made so why the delay? I guess choice of sponsor mightn't have been agreed until it was known which division we'd be in &/or it might not have all been manufactured yet (Covid may have slowed things down) but surely we can get a sneak preview or even an opportunity to pre order

They'll be wearing it in anger in under 2 weeks time!

I don't honestly remember a good well timed kit release. We never release early, and really miss the boat, however the fans wishes on this subject falls on deaf ears, however all will be forgiven if there is an improvement on the home kit, and an away of similar quality to last seasons, and hopefully we won't be seeing the horrendous patterns of the training apparel on the team strips.

It will be to do with the sponsorship agreement. Perhaps we are playing brinkmanship...?

Which boat do we miss?

Anyway, I'd assume shirt sponsorship is tied into the stadium naming rights and that it will all be announced at some grand unveiling before 6 Sept.

Don't think you too far off. I don't think it will be called the Commouinity Staduim or New Griffan Park either.

From looking at the third kit above for Huddersfield I fear you may be disappointed.

I'm hoping for Umbro piping on the sleeves

Perhaps we are having an away or third kit to match the training gear? Would seem abit weird otherwise

people who tweet 'ANNOUNCE [Insert linked player or 'New Kit']!' at Brentford are the worst aren't they.

No .. the worst are those that bleat on about the seats in LR....... the Kit lot will get over it ... eventually ... or just start moaning that the stripes are too stripey or something.

I haven't liked all of the recent kits, but when the game starts I don't really notice it.

For me the boat is the summer-short-sleeves boat. Pretty soon I'll be wearing coats everywhere (so no chance to show off the red and white stripes). Next summer the shirt will be out of date. So I'll probably not buy it, no matter how nice it is. I can't be alone in this way of thinking!

I used to get a shirt for my bothday in June and for my summer holidays. Havent bought one in years becuase the come out so late.

Calculated once that it would have worked out £5 per wear (excluding when its hidden under a jumper). Cant see them being available anytime soon to purchase if they are not even announced

This year is of course different but I always feel a good sales opportunity is missed that they are not in the shop in time for Father's Day.

Not sure where to post this....but relates to new kit.

My boys were given club shop vouchers back in Feb/Mar as birthday gifts......but can only be used in the stadium shop. Then the world went Pete Tong and we’ve not been back to GP since Sheffield Wednesday. And the stadium shop is probably now being dismantled.

There’s no option to use these vouchers online. And who knows when we’ll get to LR and whether I’ll be able to use the vouchers in the proposed retail outlets.

Any advice?

Email the club and ask? Like you say if they are not able to be used online you'll struggle to redeem them at LR if indeed they can be redeemed at all - is there an expiry date on them?

Are they electronic vouchers or physical?

I heard that following the decision to put multi-coloured seats in the stadium every third shirt will be beige.

I wonder if the hull kit from Umbro gives us a clue about ours. Didn’t John Varney day we have a heavier looking material this year?

I reckon the away will be a lighter shade of black. Not sure of the tassels on the socks though.

After a slip up the Away Shorts are Grey.

They put the shorts on the club shop website, since been removed.

There are pictures going around this morning of supposedly a premature listing on the club's shop website of junior away shorts for 20/21 and they were grey.

Ok so looks like away kit has grey involved somewhere on the shirt so probably no yellow this season as grey/yellow would be a bit weird
