All looks fine. Not so mad on the away one.

My son was keen to get a GK one this season but it's annoying that there only seems to be short sleeved ones available, despite the video having Raya in a long sleeved one.

Are we going to be playing in the Utilita Stadium then, do we think?
Was wondering the same.

I did hear it was going to be a large telecommunications company if we got promoted. Not sure why they aren't interested for naming rights in the championship. Must be TV coverage

Home is nice only way it could be better imo is if stripes were on the sleeves but I’ll settle for stripes on the back (long overdue) !!

Away looks like a training top but still quite nice with the silver badge / sponsor and red trim.

Sheff Utd new shirt is mostly white with red stripes. We’ve had red sleeves and shoulders before plus I’d rather it red than white !!

£4 more expensive than last season for adults.

Home kit is nice.

The away is awful. Looks like a training top.

I like the home kit.

Away kit looks like a casual PJ top. Horrible. Nearly as bad as the brown.

Shame. We looked fantastic in the black kit and now I’m worried we will have a terrible away record to match the brown kit lol

I don't get the love in over the black away kit. It just looked so boring and featureless to me. This is an improvement. Mind you, for the sake of my dignity my replica kit wearing days are long over so I guess I'm not the target market!

The online club shop says the new kits won’t actually be dispatched to customers until Friday 2 OCTOBER........:very angry:
Yep, was coming here to say that - ridiculous. I wouldn't buy either of these but I'd gladly grab a pair overpriced shorts - but yeah, a month wait? Crazy. Away kit orders from September 18th but that's not much better...

Bit odd to have dark shorts home and away, so there'll definitely be an "alternative" popping up soon enough... 3rd kit? Return of the blue commemorative kit? Or the away top with some odd shorts? (Red maybe?!)

Looked smart as hell if you ask me. I’m wearing it now.

Plus it’s black and makes me look slimmer.

So I’m wearing 4

Away kit disastrous. Why put us at a visual perceptive disadvantage. It will cost us and just a single point as we all know can prove the difference between success and failure. Fine margins!!!

Home kit always looks better with more red than white, so it's fine by me. Away is a very modern kit; we couldn't stray too far from the black/yellow, so carbon grey with red trims looks very good, to me... I might even be tempted!

I have seen similar said on Twitter, comparing to the infamous Man U v Southampton kit which was of course light grey and nothing like this kit at all.

Not sure it will be Utilita for the stadium. Had understood other significant partners were interested in this.

I like them both, very much.

I just think of the grey top as a black top that’s been through the wash a few times already 😂

I've had this discussion before and there's no evidence that it's a "fine margin". Don't forget, if we can't see the winger, then they can't either....

To extend this to its logical conclusion, would you rather be the visible or the invisible team?

There's an article on the website announcing them as our shirt sponsors - you'd think they'd have included the news on the stadium at the same time, if it was going that way.

Yes we've had this before, every bloody year, and it's crazy. Stadiums are well lit and the kit has bright red socks. Total non-story.

They’ll wear it until half time, then they’ll have to change. We’re doomed! Might as well pack up and go home now. :fishing:

Both the kits look good. Shame they won’t arrive till October though. Seems a stupid decision that will limit a fair amount of the sales.

Amazing that they could do all the publicity in a ground full of fans, but these kits don’t quite hit the high standards of last year

Nice video, very professional & shows Lionel Road in a very good light.

I don't rate either kit as much as last year's, unfortunately. Both are solid efforts though. The home kit is an Athletic Bilbao kit. The away shirt is a lovely training top, in the the guise of a football shirt.

Away kit is minging. Up there (or down there) with the brown and orange (aka the Jaffa cake) aberration from a couple of seasons ago.

Think they're ok.. Don't like the red top and sleeves of the home kit but at least we have stripes on the back.. Away kit looks like a training top. Nothing disastrous though..

They’re both ok. Nothing more, nothing less.

After the brown kit debacle, I promised myself I wouldn’t get wound up by something as trivial as a bit of nylon anymore. No matter how good or bad initially, you get used to eventually.

(But white numbers on the back of the grey kit looks really cheap and nasty )

The away strip last year was very different , a very dark colour brightly contrasted with very bright yellow on the shirt, on the shorts and with the socks. This is likely to give some visual perspective advantage, whereas all grey with no colour contrast on a grey, wet day is the worst possible colour. What, albeit limited, evidence there is from sports psychology would support this. In a year where there will be some loss of home advantage , then every bit of away adantage will be especially important.

The evidence supports red, for psychological and possibly visual perseptive reasons, as being the most effective colour in sport, so the home shirt is good[. The away kit is not a good choice and even abandoned one year by a topnflight team (? Man Utd).
