Got my ticket in W232 and had a pleasant & patient FaceTime with Artur. Majority of the North is now sold (I’d say about 80% now) with small pockets in most blocks.

Just got mine this morning .. a lot have sold ... and there is a waiting list of around 7000 who aren’t season ticket holders or members apparently. I think we’ll reach 10k no problem .

COVID-19 will change that, no one at BFC is going to turn away £400-£600 upfront later this year.

Received this from TO today:

"I have had a look into your account I can see you have successfully sold the Swansea & Nottingham Forrest games on the exchange. Although you may have received a message saying it will be taken of the cost of your new season ticket. The £16.48 should have been credited back to the same card you used to pay for your current season ticket."

I replied with:

"I have re-checked the statements for the card from which my Season Ticket payment was taken and there is no sign of either refund.
The Ticket Exchange FAQs https://www.brentfordfc.com/FAQs/#accordion_ticket_exchange state: "Credit towards your Season Ticket for the next campaign will only be applied if your seat has been sold."

Grateful for clarification."

Got this back:

"I will have a look into this and get back to you in due course."

Will be keen to hear their response on this. I have also sold 2 tickets on the exchange this season and not received any funds directly back to bank account, as it has ALWAYS been the case that funds are taking off the following year's ST renewal. This was also advised to me at my Reservation Centre appt and is quoted on the FAQs for LR STs.

Got this update from TO yesterday:

"Ticket exchange credits are in the process of being applied.
We hope to have a further update by the end of next week."

Seems to confirm that refunds due to sales via TE, will be credited to accounts, rather than taken off price of next season's ST.......

Difficult one really - with no football they need some revenue coming into the club so I wonder if they might take another 25% on 31st May and then the balance when (if?) we finish the current season

Come on Dell the answer to question 2 has been done a thousand times ST holders already have a ticket. Members don't. So members rightly have priority for their 1 ticket before ST holders can get one for their mate.

Members can only buy one ticket. Same as ST holders who already have their one.

Extras are open to ST holders after members have purchased their one, and only, ticket.

There are, I think, more ST holders and members in total than there are tickets in home areas......maybe hobbsy could check?

I just checked my emails and yesterday one had arrived from BFC offering me the option to purchase next season's ST online, up to a maximum of three tickets. Had rearranged my appointment from mid-March until end of April to see how the current situation pans out, so it may not be open to everyone just yet.

North Stand has N121 which will be sold to members depending on visitor numbers.

South Stand looks full bar the right corner with the East Stand.

West Stand Lower and in the corners.

East Stand, not shown, but will have enough room and the other block that isn’t being sold to ST holders.

There is no chance them asking for the balance on 31 May when the club don’t even know when next season starts, how many games will be open to the public, or even what stadium the matches will take place.

You say that, but for those on the 3 instalment plan, the money was taken on 31st March as scheduled, and clearly no comms yet regarding the 30th April instalment.

They aren't 'asking' for the balance are they, it is a pre-agreed payment that is scheduled to come out on a specified date. I wouldn't necessarily assume that they won't be taking the May instalments.

Agreed, as I posted on the Corona Football Thread, I think they will take the money unless someone contacts them and says they can't afford it. Otherwise they are turning down cashflow when they need it.

Seems to be a similar discussion to that being had on here a few weeks back about whether people that had purchased tickets to the remaining games for this season would/should expect a refund, in the event that they weren't played in front of paying customers (if at all)....
Seem to recall at the time there were a number of comments suggesting that 'loyalty' to the club would be demonstrated by not asking for money back.....
I'm in the fairly comfortable position whereby I can afford to pay the balance on my ST for next year, so probably will whatever happens. But totally understand that others aren't so fortunate......

It's happening unless we are all contacted with a new payment schedule or a pause by the club and I am not confident the logistics of that are easy to arrange. IIRC there were 3 options when I bought.

* Pay in full
* Pay 25% now and then the balance at the end of May
* Pay in 3 instalments at the end of Feb, Mar, Apr & May

I don't envy them unpicking this before the next payment which is due in just over 2 weeks time as there will be purchasers with all sorts of different amounts owed. Not taking in to account the fact that any amounts owed from the ticket exchange are not yet known as the season hasn't finished.

I would agree...somewhat. There are certainly a decent percentage of fans that are impacted by this. What with not knowing when we are going to see live football again (2021?), players deferring part of their wages, staff being furloughed etc Then the club have to listen to fans that are similarly impacted.

However I don't expect a blanket change in dates to be broadcast. More likely is that those that need to change their payment dates will need to "contact the club". Those that can pay will, no doubt, be expected to pay (e.g. large corporations etc.)

Yep. Not sure when that will happen however. If the club don't play any games that are NOT behind closed doors this year, then I wouldn't expect refunds before next year - if it were down to the club that is.

The club confirmed to me yesterday, in an email, that they will be taking payment in May. Those that are experiencing financial difficulty are to contact the reservation centre.

Price was set at two tier also. Premier league status had a decent increase involved. By 31st May we still won’t know what division we’ll be playing in.

There was no increase if we went up unless you bought after 31st May as far as I recall so no issue there.

I’m sure there was some small print * that stated subject to division either up or down. Clearly we can go down.
