5 years ago today we got promoted to the Championship

I watched us play Walsall/Carlisle/Port Vale etc etc every season bar one for over 35 years.
The last five seasons have been absolutely superb.

An unbelievable rise - we are now a feared team in this league - to have fans of Villa and Leeds worried about playing us is quite incredible given where we were.

With Matthew Benham as our owner I honestly believe this is only the start of where we could go. If we did get to the premier league - with the money involved and a more level playing field compared to the championship - things could really open up for us.

Burton
Barnsley
Bristol City
MK Dons
Preston
Wolves
Rotherham

How many of those would you swap places with?

Wolves have done well, (big club, big history), and Sheff.Utd are punching above their weight, but as for the rest .....no thanks.

We have grown in stature, respect and become a far more secure club in every respect, both on and off the field.
We are now one of the few Championship clubs, who have been consistently there over the last 5 years or more.

Brentford is in the best overall state, from every respect, that I have seen in my 60+ years of supporting them.
