The train station is some way from the stadium, about 3 miles, but you could hire a taxi from there.

London Euston to Milton Keynes Central. So Boston Manor or Ealing Broadway, on the underground, to Euston mainline. (Some cheap train tickets on line at present.)

Or, use the Supporters Coach and its services.

Departs at 12:30, from Brentford, Ealing Road. Cost to non members is £19. Email pgbees@gmail.com for more information. Or call 0203 665 7371 Monday to Friday 12 noon to 8pm. ;)

Shame, I only last ten minutes before the jobsworth steward decided to pick on me and throw me out. The day started great, was a celebration, went to a nice pub loads of bees about ten minute walk from the ground. Great view of the half time scenes from outside :( that hurt

Yes I remember that day too visiting one of my offspring who was at HMPleasure

Why meaningless when we could still be playing for survival in the champ? Its a sterile place but I'll be there and would like to see 3-4k for what could be a very important game.
You missed the smiley. :)

Who could forget Charlie Mac's last minute winner with our first shot on target when we'd been under the cosh all game. Schesney pulled off a couple of worldies that day? Horrible, dull, sterile place. Last time out we were 2-0 up and going up from league 1 but ridiculously let them back into it. I had to get a lift back with a MK fan too (real team WBA). And the time their manager clapped us after they'd beaten us, and that after we'd dampened him with beer at our place and sent up loads of balloons in his name. Rosler was pi""ed off with Trotta one time too and got the reserve striker (Wright-Phillips??) warming up after only 15 minutes but lacked the confidence/authority to sub him in the first half so waited until half time, by which time we were chasing the game. Weak manager.

All good reasons to loathe MK and get yourselves up there to enjoy the comfy seats and generous leg room at their soulless bowl with thousands of empty seats and strange cow shaped mascots running around. Maybe, just maybe we could send them back to where they belong.
I'd take a 0-0 at this stage but oh for a last minute, Charlie Mac type break away to win it.

We'll be there in force as a family. We always go to MK. The seats are far too comfy to miss. And we'll all get jolly batey if the chaps in front persist in rising to their feet throughout the tie.

As WP states the ground is about 3 miles from MK central, but a cheap special bus service runs from the station, and also from the local wetherspoon, which is 5 mins walk from the station.
You could also get the slower train to Bletchley and walk from there, probably a not very nice mile or so from the station.
I have done both options and would prefer the bus from MK central.

Shepherds Bush to Bletchley is a decent route mate.
A shortish walk from the station to the ground with a pub en route.
Cheap journey as well.

One of my all time favourite away days. Congas' down the stairs. Dancing in concourse, waving of shoes in the air. Just a shame we let 2 late goals in to draw a game we were walking.

I enjoyed watching the scrum between Brentford supporters and stewards, at the front of the stand. Excellent viewing.

Is the 5k to MK a reference to the number of home supporters there will be once all the plastic supporters/glory hunters have melted away once they are relegated?

Popped in there lunchtime for some tickets. I had a lot of spare seats to choose from, so not many tickets bought yet.

p.s. If you're looking for real ale then the Red Lion next to the canal in Fenny Stratford is a free house. Also, The Chequers in Fenny is owned by Vale brewery and do a decent pint.

Yes mate, not a bad pub. Also the Three Trees opposite is quite popular with away fans.
They are quite far from the ground though, about 2 miles / 40 minute walk.
