Wow some comments on here seriously. If his access meant we got a HardFi Hey Jude music special release video then fair play. Im sure he isnt just a having a jolly old sing along. Can't blame the club for the situation. Come one people.

lots of people going to work , sitting on public transport , going to pubs and beaches. We are not in lockdown.

There is no reason why the club couldn't organize letting people in to say goodbye over a few weeks whilst maintaining social distancing.

If they wanted to do it they could.

FYI I'm also a 50 year old who's been going to GP since Div 4 days, but probably won't sign up for this as I don't think it will do anything for me in terms of saying goodbye.
I'll probably just drive up to GP one afternoon in the next few weeks, have a walk round the ground, quietly remember the great (and awful!!) times, take a few more photos, have a pint in The Griffin, and then drive home....
Im 61 and have already accepted I wont be able to travel down even if the gates are thrown open for one last goodbye. I said my goodbyes against Oxford in the FA cup, wept buckets on the pitch after being taken into the dressing room and getting Alan Judges last shirt he played in as a momento from Thomas Frank. I will take up the offer and pay a fiver for a good cause but wont watch but will gift it to my daughter to watch from Hull Uni. I have had a tour of the ground many years ago with my son, so my daughter can watch and see behind the scenes I can only watch the Bees on Television now and the occasional away game if its close to home and there are decent disabled services. Considering when I get to the ground unlike most people who look for the bar. I search out the nearest paramedic to make sure they know where I am in case the sh*t hits the fan and my heart goes badly wrong. I just hope when Lionel Road is open for the first game I am still able to take up Nity's kind offer to attend as a guest and I dont have to bequeath it to my Wife, Son and Daughter to watch on my behalf while I sit with my dad in the clouds having a virtual London Pride or two. Griffin Park is a fine past but we must move on and Lionel Road is a fantastic future.

Am I missing something again? They have clearly been commissioned by the club for some sort of social media video commemorating the loss of Griffin Park. The band had been booked to perform at the final game. I assume - given that LR is likely to open with 20%-30% crowds the video may well be played at the first game. It probably wouldn't be appropriate to have Hard-Fi performing on the LR pitch any time soon anyway.

Like with the virtual tour - with proceeds going to charity - it seems to me the club are doing everything they can to mark 'Farewell Griffin Park' under the circumstances. And if you don't like it or would prefer your last memory to be Swansea or even Sheffield Wednesday, don't watch any of it.

Like others, I sincerely hope they will give ST holders the option of visiting the ground one last time. But while fixtures are still being played (B team, who knows about first team friendlies ahead of the new season?), I can't see them doing it yet when there is rightly such an emphasis on venues being COVID-secure.

I'd absolutely criticise the club if it had done something wrong but they have said a few times they want to help get supporters back to GP in some shape or form. I hope they can but the petulant reaction to all this from some on here is ridiculous.

Agreed Nick - but suspect it might be because there are still fixtures at GP to be fulfilled and it has to be 'secure'.

In the event that it's a B team game preventing Griffin Park from being opened up to fans, then the fans should absolutely be given priority and the B team can find somewhere else to play 90 minutes of football.

If there's a possibility that Griffin Park is still needed for first-team games, then we obviously have a problem with Lionel Road which it would be good to hear about - especially as we were expecting the keys in July and it's now mid-August.

Anyone know how to actually log in to watch this tomorrow night?

I bought a ticket, and was emailed a receipt but for the life of me I can't find any instructions on how to watch.

Edit: just seen on the main site linked earlier in the thread it says:

"A link will be sent to you 2 hour prior to the event starting, and all you will need to do is click on that link at event start time."

I hope its not being hosted in iFollow 😂

I was getting worried too.

You will be sent a link two hours before the event starts, it's hidden in one of the three emails you were sent.
