RIP.

A very interesting character. Reading the links at the bottom took me to Gypsy Joe's story. I'd love to know who Jim Needles was, who taught Joe to read. Why did he do so, and what happened to him? On the face of it, Needles sounds like a guy who did people some real good.

RIP Aaron - see where his lads got their character from

RIP - Aaron. My Dad knew the family and had some funny tales of bunking in to the World Matchplay at Wentworth with Aaron, Joe and John posing as Landscape gardeners. Brentford through and through.

RIP Aaron Smith. A big man and another bee gone.

Incredible sight yesterday when I went to my house in Hanworth, just a few doors away from the Smith family. A huge marquee with hundreds of people paying their respect. A number of red and white wreaths too and a brentford shirt made from flowers. An amazing sight.

Still think Joe's book would make a great film or TV series.
