Remember being in a game the very day the Haye v Mayweather fight (I think?) was happening. Me and my CB were having some superb banter with their CF but nobody else was being very friendly. Eventually a mass con broke out, the CF put his arm around me and went "don't worry keeps, I'll protect you".

We stood there watching the brawl when eventually someone threw an absolute peach of a right hook and flattened the biggest bloke there and everyone scattered. I flew on in to check on him and after a few moments he came to, looked me dead in the eye and says "I hope this isn't heaven because you're one f***ing ugly angel" 😂

Bizarrely, both the bloke and the bloke he rolled out on the turf went to the pub and ended up becoming quite good mates. Funny old world :bounce:

It was a 2-2 draw
That's what I thought. Didn't we have a new striker that day (he might have scored), Paul somebody or another that we signed from Portsmouth? He looked the absolute business and a great signing. But packed football in five minutes later? Presumably so that he never had to play at Craven Cottage again?

I met Paul Birch a few years ago. A lovely man who became a successful businessman who simply decided he didn’t want to play football anymore.

My wife was watching the Bournemouth match with me which is a very rare occurrence and she was mostly texting . When there was a ruckus with some pushing and shoving she asked why they do it if nobody really punches anyone. anyone remember when someone actually landed a real punch

Paul Davies on Glenn Cockerill? Broken jaw for Cockerill, 9 month ban for Davies.
