Ads on mobile OS that don't go away

Is anyone else experiencing the inability to view individual stories on the mobile OS due to full page adverts that don't cancel?

It has resulted in the information on the site being inaccessible to me.

Yes and it's ****ing irritating.

If there is any way to cancel or short circuit the ads then I haven't found it.

I have been switching off and then trying to log back in in the hope that I can read the story before the ads take over the screen.

I just switch off the sound, do something else for 30 seconds and wait...

Yes. Very annoying. If on an iPhone, just close it and clear it, go back on safari and on to Brentford os. Sometimes a different advert is easier to cancel than others. It is, most definitely, a pain in the arse!! :mad2:

ps when are ads being allowed in the GPG?

No problems here when viewing on my Android mobile. Just click the x to close the ad and it disappears. :shrug:

It does appear that the ads are now cancelling which is grand. It was rather frustrating earlier when this was certainly not the case
