Forgot that he played for Huddersfield, until New Road gave him a great reception before the game, as he made his way to their dugout.

Haven't got a problem with that, but didn't like the fact that during the game, as he was warming up, Ealing Road went through their full repertoire of songs for him.

Yep, that was cringe-worthy - a simple round of applause was sufficient. The criterion that determines what sort of reception a former player gets from fans at this club is ludicrous.

From my position on the ER, I thought it was because Pritch clearly enjoyed it himself (grinning away) and also as a way of taking a (mild) rise out of the Hudds fans - "He's one of our own etc".

I didn't join in myself, but I thought it pretty harmless.
