Frank is a huge huge loss, I’d say he’s been our best player so far this year.

Positives tho: Ghoddos, time to step up my son. Jensen and Baptiste back on the bench, Villa with 4 players out... good time to play them!

I reckon we’ve got a chance here.

Is that a 4-2-3-1 for Villa with Young on the left of a 3 behind Ings?

Don't know anything about Chuckwuemeka other than he played against Barrow and is listed as a midfielder/attacker on the interweb.

We’ll be far weaker in the press without FTT, but Ghoddos should bring more creative so we need to play to our strengths… could be an interesting game.

I’m assuming we’ll see Baptiste, hope he carries on from where he started in pre-season.
If a cb has to come off, Janelt could drop into the back 3 like against FGR. That would be preferable for me over going to a back 4.

Nice to see that Ghoddos is the pre match designated scapegoat.
We all want him to do well... He needs to deliver so people can get behind him.

I know right. Some of our fans have no shame clearly. Not even a ball kicked yet.

Frank is a loss. But with some of their players missing a a draw and if not a sneaky win is on the cards IF perform at top level.

Whatever the score today, I very much doubt DS will be saying afterwards that the game should never have been played due to Covid like Arteta did

Losing Onyeka is a big blow but that Villa team looks very beatable

Not saying we will, or are favourites, but the odds of us winning got to be higher now

Norgaard would go into the 3 surely? Like he did for the final games last season

I wonder if Fin Stevens could put a shift in as the right most of the 3 center backs

Bad news re onyeka but really good news with Jensen and baptiste back. Means we’ll need to be a bit more positive with the ball. Villa a few players down so let’s go for it. Odd that Roerslev is out too? Another Covid issue or are we maybe looking to loan him out with another coming in?

Villa missing Mings and McGinn is a big bonus for us.

I haven't been Ghoddos's biggest fan but I don't think he was awful on Tuesday at all. He played OK. Bidstrup was much worse. In any case he has his chance and perhaps this system will suit him.

They are missing Bailey, Mings, McGinn and others so this is a great opportunity for a win.

Might be Roeslev has a knock having come off at half time Tuesday.

Was supposed to be there today but a combination of late drop outs, catalytic converter thieves and shambolic train services mean I'm sitting at home with my #cans instead.

Hoping for a solid performance from the team today. :bounce:
