Looks decent line up Ghoddos will give us options going forward in frank I trust
Yep instead of trying to replace like with like that could weaken us (bidstrup for Frank) we have decided to switch tactics slightly and go more offensive with Ghoddos hopefully feeding Tiney and Mbeumo with Norgaard and Janelt providing protection and three Centre backs behind.

If we had continued to play 3CBs with 2DMs in front of them many players wont get any minutes, Saman for the first 70 mins replaced by Baptiste for the last 20 will help both get (more) minutes

At some point we have to set up more attacking so with Villa missing some players today represents a decent opportunity to do so. Glad to see Jensen and Baptiste on the bench to strengthen the midfield and Onyeka should be back for Brighton

1-1.....Ethan & Rico dropping off Buendia to cover the spare man, one needed to close him down.

Gave Buendia far too much space there.

Sounds like we were way too open.

Class goal apparently - unfortunately this is what will happen this season. Reckon this could be a high scoring game...

What a lovely little touch from Pontus! I was going to say ten minutes ago I'm happy with that line-up and the bench. Go Ivan.

Good finish but why on earth does he have that much space on the edge of the box
Buendia was being tracked by Rico but moved back into a pocket of space at the right moment. Superb vision/awareness but still had work to do when he received the ball, which he did brilliantly. Just shows you cannot switch off for a moment in this league.

If the end to end start is anything to go by then this game has potential for goals galore.

Big Eth has to shoulder the blame there.

If we concentrate during the important moments there is every chance that we will get something out of this game.

As everyone knows, Charlie wasn't in the squad for the forest green and Aston villa games. His brother, Ben, is the Wingate and Finchley goalkeeper and he is missing from today's game. I wonder I'd there is a family issue as Wingate are using an inexperienced goalkeeper

How is the game playing out intensity wise in comparison to the Palace game?
