B team had an 'internal training game' on Wed.. Sounds like it was a good run out and a couple of injured players came back. Brook (2), Pressley, Mogensen and Trialist scored

From the little I've seen on you tube there seems to be a lot of potential talent for the future in our b-team, but I've no idea who are the most consistently gifted players. I also struggle to id the individuals other than one or two that stand out eg 'Elvis.' Can anyone help?

Would imagine we’d see the likes of Pontus, Goode, Roerslev, Marcondes, Forss, Zamburek tomorrow, maybe even a runout for ghoddos

How many Trialist will play ?

Depends whether they want to make it more of a first team training game.. If so as sounds likely doubt there'll be any. If it's just B team then probably loads as they'll have a few missing and already short in defence and midfield..

Latest update on OS makes no mention of first teamers so may be trialist-tastic! hoping there might be a last minute stream

Charlton fans saying that's practically a first team that they're putting out. Should be a good test..

A question re the whereabouts of:
O’Connor, Koutsimouka, Hockenhull,
Crama, Haygarth and Winterbottom?
Presumably some injured. Anyone know?

Kouts has been getting alot of game time bizarrely (he's out of contract and definitely heading for the exit door), but the continued absence of the rest is baffling yeah. It sucks that the search function the OS is so sh*t, as it'd be beneficial to be able to sort search results (such as for "Crama") by latest first, to see when they were last mentioned.

The young Bees, who have had to contend with a number injuries in defence of late, could welcome back some bodies to the back line having been without the likes of Kane O'Connor, Ben Hockenhull, Tristan Crama and Aubrel Koutsimouka for a number of weeks

I really would give Pressley a few sub cameos at first team level, anything to shake it up, think he's on about 14 goals for the season now.

Just seen the Bees B's result tonight. Well done. Any reports, who played and who were the outstanding players.

There's a match report here..

Sounds like they all played well but the midfield of Bidstrup, Marcondes and Trevitt in particular.. Yet another goal for Pressley and a spectacular one for Hercules apparently..

Yet another goal for Pressley ...

I felt whoever wrote that report wasn't overly complimentary towards Pressley. Missed chances and his goal seemed to owe more towards the midfield than his finishing.

Carre doesn't seem to get many minutes - unused sub yesterday. On the odd occasion I've seen him, I thought he looked impressive.

Carre's an odd one. He looks good at times but then sometimes makes poor decisions with the ball. I don't think he's particularly progressed since joining and can't see him getting an extension to his contract particularly with the likes of Bidstrup and Oksanen ahead of him in his position.

whoever wrote that report

As someone pointed out elsewhere, the whole thing with the overuse of the word "would" ("Brentford would have a number of chances in the dying minutes") is annoying, so I certainly wouldn't rate the author's ability to judge performances!

That's up there with the old OS report favourite 'Brentford then had a corner.. which came to nothing..'

Interesting that we withdrew from the two cups because we couldn’t fit them in with our fixture list but we don’t seem to playing again until May!!

Perhaps there is a limit as to how many trialists can be in a match day squad?

It’s such a shame these aren’t open to fans yet. Would have loved to have gone down to see another game there..

I wonder whether we might see more B team games played there going forward rather than at jersey road??

A decision will be made on the fitness of Aaron Pressley following a knock against Ebbsfleet last time out.

NM may have seen it is a good learning opportunity for the players to come up against agressive strong players rather than technical players
