Coming up against an academy-trained outfit I think the Bs will be allowed to play football and so will get a positive result. They've been kicked about by the likes of Aldershit, Hendon and Bromley over the last month or so.

They have to learn to deal with the more physical sides, all part of their education.

Wonder if we’ll finally get a glimpse of the aussie kid? Must be close to the end of his pre-season fitness training ..

With O'Connor, Hockenhull and Crama out there, they might be playing 3 CBs, given that Stevens' and Gordon's numbers indicate they are the full backs.

Presumably during lockdown the B team won't be able to play scheduled fixtures as it isn't 'elite sport'?

yeh, they've played three at the back the last two games due to lack of midfielders!

No, you've got that wrong - he's changed his name by deed poll to John Smith! 👍

No sure what the definition of a non elite fixture is when the participants are all contracted employees of elite clubs playing at a training establishment. Sounds more like employees who are unable to work from home attending their place of work. All B team members in theory could be picked to play for the first team so are obliged to keep fit, how else are they to do so, unless they play these sort of games. There may be a problem playing in a competition at Hendon etc.

No. He’s not due till the end of November. Depending on travel in and out of the country....

Sorry don’t know anything about this guy . Where’s he come from , type of player etc

Can you imagine Gilham introducing this guy
Think I'd enjoy the crowds song though. One.....theres only one........Bit different to Gary Stevens who I think there were a least 3 at the same time. Probably more.

He wasn’t playing for Brentford.

He’s a Leicester City player.

Probably Reece Cole, back at Jersey Road ostensibly to keep himself fit!
He may force his way into first team squad given our lack of options in central midfield! Now wouldn’t that be a story! Not totally dissimilar to Nathaniel Phillips at Liverpool.

Pair of assists for Stevens from RB, too. I like the look of him, looked good when called upon in the league cup, could force himself into the picture by next season, which would be very good considering Dalsgaard's (expectable) decline as a top class wing back.

looked like difficult conditions too (esp for the cameraman!), so good effort all round.

There are some really good players in the B team now. I think Adams will be the next to step up as he has gone up so many levels the last year and I think Stevens may be one the most exciting right backs in the world at his age

We're also missing the likes of Maghoma and Mogensen from the side at the moment, both of whom had looked to be stepping up a level this year.. Valgeir looks very promising, will be interesting to see what Lachlan Brooks can bring to the party..
